I've never been to any running camps. They sound really fun but also cost alot of money. There is this one camp called "The Running School" has anyone heard of it? My schools cross country team goes there every year during the summer (I was never on XC) but I heard they have a sprinting camp and feild event camp there. Of course I only find out about this after I graduate sad

I'm going to one here where I live in Lake Placid in July. I've been to this same one in April, and it was amazing! It was so much fun, I learned a TON, met other people from the state, and it really helped me improve! I took 50 seconds off of my mile time, and also improved my other times...I can't wait to see what I get in XC!!

I went to this all-round sports training gym called Velocity to stay in some kind of shape and to get some weight lifting in. It got me back up enough to start my running again from my, er...sabatical during the early summer months pretty quick. And the guy who ran it got me this track poster for my dorm room. It says "For Sale: .2 seconds" Showed one to my coach and he ordered them for the whole team back home.

I'm planning on doing two camps this summer like i did last year.
I will be going to the Blue Ridge Running Camp held at Eastern Menonite University again. Its mostly for Cross Country and distances runners, But last year I did the Sprint Camp and worked with Coach Rolando (Lonnie) Greene who coaches the Girls team at University of Arkansas! So that was awesome, And I had soooooo much fun with my team last year. Such Great Memories!!
I need to go to a hurdle camp as well. I'm looking at one at Vilanova this summer but I havn't looked to deeply into it.
But ya Blue Ridge will be ton's of fun!

I'm going to go the cross country camp at Stanford this summer with some of my friends. Even though it's only for five days, it should help keep me in shape for cross country season...I'm going to be a sophomore, so I can't say that I'm number 3 on the team and a freshman. Oh well.
