A mysterious one by the name of Riosuke, had just jumped over a stream, his tail barely missing the water. Not that he'd care. His ears perked upright, listening around him, like he heard something. Then he caught sight of something. He soft purple eyes trailed over the rocks and through the trees.

Something stood out against the greenery. Pink. A soft colored pink. He cocked his head a little as he took some steps forward to investigate. He narrowed his eyes till he realised it was nothing to be cautious about. "Sleeping here, are we?" He poked the female, Ella, in the back with a paw.

He grinned from her silliness. He muffled a laugh and shook his head, pretending he didn't see. "See what?" He then scanned. "The way you were sleeping? 'Cause yeah.." He put a paw up to his face. "You were drooling a bit here." He kidded.

He laughed at her excitement. "Hey now, aren't we a ready one? Calm down, really. Don't get hyped up. You'll get me going." He laughed again. "So, what may call you, fair lady?" He asked.

Riosuke chuckled. "Don't worry about it. I don't like quiet Epomas. They're just well....to quiet." He said this casually. He stayed in with her silence, and finally got to hear her name. "I'll just call you Rae." He said, picking out random letters from her name, then putting them together. He winked and said, "The names, Riosuke. Or you can just call me Buttcake. An old friend called me that." He smirked with a grin.

Something caught his eye. "Hm, whats this? Oh, wow awesome!" He dug out from the grass, a jewel, like a ruby. It was red, like all rubies were. "Hey, hey, check this out, babe!" He called, moving the ruby along. The sun caught it's surface. Light zoomed through it and reflected it many different ways. "Say, now that's a pretty thing." He looked in it and saw himself on the surface. "Who's that good lookin' male in there?" He kidded, then shook his head in a 'yeah right', type of way.

"Where ever this one came from, there's bound to be more, eh?" A gleam ran across his eyes. "Or there might be something better." He played with the ruby some more. Then he rolled it in font of Rae. "Alright, you take a good look at it."

Holy crap, I wished I had Equinox o.o

Riosuke cracked up as well. "Sure, my one and only nick for you. Unless 'babe' is alright."
He chuckled and took another glance at the ruby. "Ya know what? You may be right! Only if she was a bit prettier like you are." He winked again and pawed at her as she pawed him. He watched her rolling along.
"Stranger." He said with a grin, following 'strange'.

He pawed at the ruby and picked it up with his mouth. "Here." He droppe it onto Rae's stomach as she laughed. "My present to my first encounter. You deserve a thing such as this." He wasn't only a kidder, but a charmer as well...
Riosuke took kindly to her. "As for my nickname, just call me Rus." He nodded with a smile.

Cherry blossoms blew around suddenly, as a gust of wind blew threw the valley. "Hey! Let's follow the wind...no...the cherry blossoms!" He reared up. His faded red mane swished around his face. He looked up, seeing more fly over head. "The cherry blossoms want us to come. Let's go!" He said, rushing into a run.

Rus nodded. "Sure thing!" His blush wasn't easy to see through his red fur.

Watching her laugh, he laughed as well. The ruby in her mane gave off a dashing light. It made her eyes stand out. "Hey! Maybe they're taking us to some secret place like um..." He looked dumbfounded. "Alright, maybe not. Though I do think they have something to show us." He concluded.

He ran faster as she caught up. He jumped as she nipped his tail, taken by surprise. He grinned nervously. He never was fond of getting surprised. He made a nipping with his mouth, as if trying to tell her to watch out, but in a playful way. He stuck his tongue out at her.

Near the rim of the valley's easy going terrain, there was a cliff that had a steep drop. Unfortunately, Rus didn't watch out, and when he had time to look back in front of him, he figured out too late. Rus slid, but only made a faster route to the edge. He reached the edge and held on by his front paws, looking down at the rocks below. "So this is the way I die?!" He cried out. "Rae!" He called. "Get the blinking over here! I'm falling." He gritted his teeth as he tried to climb up, but the rocks fell as he climbed up. He lost his grip, and used his reclinable claws to claw into the rocks so his grip was better.
He could feel his life going by, like you usually feel when you're on the brink of death.

He heaved in sighs of relief. Then he started to get panicked. The idea of jumping on her back, made him wonder. "But, what if.." He shook his head. He took a look at her, flying. He smiled and nodded. "Alright!" He said. As she said 3, he, quickly, jumped on her back and jumped back up with soft, but heavy force. He managed to slink over the edge as he caught it.

He layed on the ground, his mane covering his face. He was certainly nervous. "What a wild idea." He admitted, making his hair from his eyes. He took another look at her flying there. He chuckled. "Really..you were like an angel for a moment, coming to save me." He looked away, his ears flat on his head, still scared about what happened. "But don't think like that. For all I know, my weight could've pushed you down."

He stood up and shook himself of any worries. "Alright. I shouldn't be the one scolding. I'm the one who fell. Oops." He blushed from embarassment. "So, uh, Rae, you ok?"
