Races/Myths Revealed so Far
Humans –
Most of the world’s population is human, so it is no wonder that 2 of the 3 major nations are human ones. They are highly adaptable and come in a great variety, from amazing, to stupid. Humans have a variety of religions and cults as well as societies to match. They have potential to do anything if dedicated to it, thus the term “Character Class” was invented. The only thing they lack is a proficiency in magic, which some are trying to remedy by training with the elves.
Dwarves –
While most of the world depends on age old technology, dwarves look to science and the future. They have invented some form of steam power and basic muskets. They believe in Mordeth Greybeard, a great god who forged the world with steel. Rarely will a dwarf realize his magic potential, but instead learn to use muskets and melee combat.
Elves –
Similar to humans, but have already realized their potential and base themselves around hunting and magic forces. They tend not to enter any large towns or cities, only entering if they need supplies or on business. While they do resent the humans for their great success of being the dominate power, they also look to them to continue what the elves of old had started long ago. Their religion is based on the Goddess and her children, elves are thought to be the children of the Goddess’s children ((Yes, I have a weird way of making up cultures and religions 0.o)). An elf has a long lifespan of 400 years and is able to cast magic and hunt, although magic depends on which tribe they were born with.
Dragoons (Dragon/Human) –
Dragons realize that they needed something fast growing if they were to live in this now human infested world. Thus they use magic to create a human / dragon called Dragoons. They can fight on their 30th year of their 500 year lifespan (a haven, since an average dragon can’t fight until their 350th year in their 4000 year lifespan), they know many different kinds of magic and fighting styles.
To any other inhabitant of the world, they are wise and ferocious; to dragons they are stupid and primitive. Dragoons tend to not have religions, but some do adapt those of other races.
Valen (Elder race, Cat People) –
It was said long ago they roamed the lands with other animals as companions, although now one of the rarest races in the land and some even mistake them as a Myth. They are thought to be one of the decedents of a great race of beings that began life on the world. They behave a lot more cheerful than humans, and tend to look at the bright side of the world. Beliefs vary from tribe to tribe or individual, but the Elvin Goddess was derived from the Valen. They use a variety of weapons and their magic potential is unlimited, although not realized since most focus on the arts of summoning, which the Valen are one of the few races who can summon great creatures and sometimes even Myths.
Tacoons
These people declare that they are not related to dwarves what-so-ever. These are small spirits who resemble dwarves, but are not strong what-so-ever. Generally they would avoid contact if only necessary or shrink down friends if they want to visit. They generally like to see the bright side of things and thirst for adventure and an early age. They generally have no combat skills except maybe some magic used for tricks
Loven Denai (Wolf-men-ish) –
These creatures of a nomad nature moving generally in packs and lives their own code. They are agile, and powerful people but this varies from pack (some are more agile, others might go into magic). The Loven Denai believs the moon is the source of all their power and believe the moon to be a god. They have the ability to transform into a normal wolf and speak to wildlife in this manner.
Personalities and looks as well as abilities differs depending on the pack or breed the Loven Denai came from.
