Welcome to the DNAngel Guild Guide

This is a guild for fans of the wonderful manga and anime series D.N.Angel! Please note that there will most likely be discussion about shounen-ai/yaoi in this guild. And some may appear in the RP as well. Join responsibly.

Heres a guick guide on how things work around here, who to look for, and of course, the guild rules! Please do read it. As soon as you finish reading the entire thing, just answer the poll on top for some free gold and all that jazz. ^^

Oh, one more thing ^_^. All members, feel free to start new threads 3nodding Let's try and keep them on topic, but a few off-topic ones would probably be ok too...^^;;

Rules

The newest rules are in italics. This is for your convinience, so that you don't have to keep reading over old rules. However, sometimes it is not bad to refresh your memory once in a while.

If it is evident that you have not read the rules, you will be warned. The systems for warnings is explained in the next post, along with what the numbers next to the rules mean.

1. Please, even if it's easier to use chat short-hand (u r kewl for example and so forth), USE CORRECT GRAMMAR AND SPELLING when posting. This means anywhere in the guild, not just in the RP (though you must be literate in the RP's). It's annoying for most of the older members of the guild to come in and see "newbies" cluttering up the guild with this kind of chat short-hand. (1 point)

2. Please follow Gaia ToS. Breaking the ToS will lead to banning. If there is a minor TOS violation, then report it to the mods. If there is a bigger TOS problem, contact the vice captains. If you need to inform a mod about it, then please do tell us about it. ^^ Also, asking for fandubs or fansubs of DNAngel or any other anime is against TOS. You will be warned. (Minor violation : 1-3 points; Major violation : 4-6 points.)

3. Please please try to post semi-regularly (like every few days or even just once a week or so) ;.; I know we have a lot of members, but NOT a lot of you are visiting/posting regularly. It's really sad when all you do is introduce yourself and post a couple of times then disappear... If you do not post at least this much, you will only be warned twice. Then you will be banned. (1 point)

4. ABSOLUTELY NO SPAMMING!!! (1 point)

5. Please listen to the mods and the vice captains! Don't just ignore us! We have power.. That shall not be abused.. Unless needed. ^^' (2 points)

6. Do not post threads in the main forum. Also, do not post in this thread. If you are introducing yourself to the guild, you must do so in the "Introduce Yourself" sticky. (1 point)

Crew Rules
1. Please move all the threads to the right place.
2. Clean up the forum every 1-2 months. Chatterbox will be cleaned every... month! This means that threads which are repeats or haven't been posted in for six months should be sent to thread hell.
3. Don't overuse your powers.
4. Be nice to other users.
5. Kindly help users.
6. Have fun.
7. Follow all user rules.

If any mod breaks any of these rules, please, as a member, report it to the vice captains. The last post will help with this.
Breaking these rules many times will cause you to be demoted... Eventually, if problems persist, you will be banned.. Which will most likely never happen! xd

Warnings

We made rules for this guild for a reason, and now we're implimenting an actual system for the warnings as well.

Each member starts off with 6 warnings points, which will be deducted when a member breaks a rule. Each rule has a number of points next to it, which is the amount which will be deducted when the rule is broken. Minor offenses cause a loss of 1 point, major ones could cost the loss of all of a member's points.

When you've broken a rule, you'll be PMed by a member of the crew. That member will attach the following form to the PM, and it will detail the offense which occured, and also include how many points you have left.

History of the Guild

Established by Manda around when guilds were first made, the guild has always been a DNAngel Guild, and slowly gained members until around 2005 when it became really active. Manda eventually, being unable to properly take care of the guild, promotes Azn Mochi Gurl, JazzyJas, [Dark], Lysa-chan, and Dark Angel Dragon to mods. A few weeks later, Azn Mochi Gurl and Jazzyjas are both promoted to vice-captains. Under the leadership of the two, the guild was reorganized. However, many mods, like [Dark], who was hacked, and Dark Angel Dragon, who simply didn't have the time, were unable to perform their mod duties and got demoted. Lysa-chan stayed as a mod, however, became a lot less active. The guild began to die because of the few mods compared to the fairly large amount of active regulars, the current mods Zakura-chan, Hane no Kori, Darks_sister, and Krad_Hikari were promoted. The guild came back under order, and Azn Mochi Gurl, who is now known as [Mochi] was promoted to captain since Manda (who is now only a mod) had become completely inactive in the guild. The crew also added Akina Asuka and tEh kUnfuZzled sAfEty piN to the line up, to help the current mods. Around that time, Hane no Kori was promoted to Vice Captain.
At the beginning of the summer in 2007, the crew decided that the guild needed a new look. So, for the month of August, they revamped the entire guild, creating the Official DNAngel Guild version 2. A new subforum was added to accomadate the high traffic in the main forum, and the main forum became a sticky/announcement only forum. The mods lounge was cleaned (some soda bottles were still under the couch), and thread hell was emptied.
