I've yet to finalize the details, but what I need to do before beginning is to give you enough information to decide whether your dragon ought to participate or not.
The fairy dragons first arrived on Orchestra not knowing where they had come from, having forgotten an important event in the past that in turn threw a shadow over many memories affected by that event.
I will now outline this forgotten past, and it will not be pretty. Some dragons chose to forget it, others were made to for the sake of the race's survivial. What you need decide is whether your dragon had chosen to forget, and whether your dragon will choose to remember when the time comes.
------
The fairy dragons used to live in a sprawling mountain valley, and its greatest feature were clear, deep lakes, waterfalls and pale stone structures. They were numerous enough, and had begun to develop crude technologies along with their existing skills of alchemy and shamanism.
Disaster descended in the form of an enemy which sought to wipe out the fairy dragon race and make use of the valley's mineral resources, until then quite untapped by the natives.
Whether their first and most fatal attack was by magic or science is yet unknown, but many of the fairy dragons lost their minds and turned on their comrades, and in the bloodbath the affected slaughtered friends and family, and several of those were in turn killed by the ones who retaliated to save themselves.
There weren't many of them left by the time the enemy swarmed in to finish them off, and in that time the crazed dragons returned to their senses. Outnumbered, emotionally devastated and outmatched, those who were not cut down fled.
Of the ones who escaped there were seventy. Forty-nine had their memories culled by shamanistic magic, whether by choice or to save their sanity, and left with one leader to seek another haven where they could begin anew.
Twenty dragons remained to investigate the nature of the enemy and the reason for the annihalation of their race.
Of that twenty, three will return to tell the tale.

Roleplay GuidelinesA number of things I require of players who wish to participate in the RP that takes place in this game thread: There's a plot to work off, and I'd like you to adhere to it as much as possible. I'll be flooding you with details and info for use, so there'll be plenty to base your writing off of.
Powerplay, where one RPer takes control of, or even assumes the disposition or reaction of another RPer's character, is unacceptable. Do not presume that you may dictate what another player wishes to do with his/her character in any way, shape or form. You may interpret an action that has already taken place, but that will only be from the point of view of your own character.
For example, you may not assume that in attempting to hit someone you actually deal any damage. You many not assume you have caused any emotional reaction.
You may, from the point of view of your character, believe that someone's reaction was due to anger or fear, and react thus.
Try not to jump over a space of time you know other players might possibly want to take action in. If you carry out an action, someone may want to react.
For instance, if your character is with a group during a mission, and you tell everyone you're going to take an elevator to the top floor, fight the boss, decipher a password and hack into the core fusion reactor while they create a distraction, don't get around to blowing up the building before anyone gets a chance to even tell you what they think. Interaction is the point of a roleplay. ^^
Proper spelling, grammar and paragraphing would help make your post a lot more comprehensible. Do make your best effort.
And that's about it. The following aren't strict requirements to participate, but you might find things turning out a lot less hollow and immaterial if you tried to follow them.
RPing in written story mode, rather than separating action and speech ( asterisks and double colons, etc), will help other RPers to better decide how they would interact with your character. Posting "*walks around*" and "::looks around::" gives other players absolutely nothing to work of off, and would likely result in your post being ignored.
While RPing, out of character commentary or conversation may be carried out in ((double parenthesis)). Any other method of distinguishing RP from usual conversation is acceptable, I'm just the most comfortable with this method.

Plot/RP FAQ
It must be noted that none of the dragons, except for Sunday, remember any events from before their birth or arrival on Orchestra island. Memories of their old homeland have been completely erased, and although many still remember friends and family ties, that and their own names is often all they remember.
Why does my dragon have to forget? For reasons given in the first post. Honestly, however, it's to allow everyone to set off on even footing when they begin in the RP and still retain old ties, because this is the Fairy Dragon's second installation.
What is their current society like? It's almost tribal in nature, with no distinctive leadership. The most knowledgeable or skillful in a given situation tends to assume a loose kind of command, but there are no rules that they hold to.
Dragons of different colour tend to inherit particular genetic traits, but they don't live apart from the others or count themselves as a different race or faction, even with the rare colours. There aren't enough of them, and have never been enough of them. The only group distinction ever made is the family unit, and even that gets somewhat blurry, depending on how a dragon takes his/her mates.
What was their society like in the past? That will be revealed in the RP.
Do the FD read and write? Most of them can, if they ever bothered to learn. Their written and spoken language is borrowed from the common trade language of races outside of their idyllic tribe, and therefore is a lot more versatile and expressive than their primitive society ever had need for. We can assume that this language is English.
Do the FD have special powers? The FD practice a form of shamanism, ingesting hallucinogens and using handsigns to perform mostly elemental/healing spells. Full guide will eventually appear in the post below.

Shaman Magic/Abilities Guide
Shamanism Explained The term "Shamanism" hasn't yet found a distinctive doctrine, but I'll be taking it in the context of the contemporary(and perhaps "ignorant") interpretation, because it is most widely understood. If anyone wants to argue true origins and practices, do provide good sources, and I suppose we could all better educate ourselves.
Much of the stereotype involves the practitioner entering a drug-induced trance to better communicate, or enter into, the realm of spirits. It is this loose link that I've based the Fairy Dragon magic upon.
The Magic of August Valley Information on the August Valley can be found in the FAQ above.
The magic that the FD practice requires a dragon to be in a "trance" of sorts, and they connect to the elements and the "spirits" of the natural world when they're in this trance. They'd also (mostly) perfectly self-aware in this trance, as it enhances their senses rather than cause mindless hallucinations.
To obtain this trance, the FD either need to ingest an herbal medicine made from reasonably common components, or a fragment of moonstone, found in abundance in the August Valley. The stones aren't terribly soft, but FD teeth are strong enough to shatter it without much effort.
Once the trances is obtained, the Fairy Dragon's pupils white out, or disappear in white light altogether, depending on the strength of the trance, whch can be affected by the amount of hallucinogen consumed, or the presence of a complimenting element which strengthens the power of a spell.

Xiaoli Would...would this be Reet's perfect excuse? sweatdrop Do you remember when you asked me (in my lineart auction thread) exactly what is wrong with Reet, and whether it was something he was born with? I answered that I really wasn't sure, just that he was very animalistic, rather violent, and slightly autistic. When I read that paragraph, I seriously thought that you might have written that just for me. xd

Erina_Nobara I'm all for it. ((also wants to know about Kura's previous past with Sunday)) Sunday would be a friend of the family. She doesn't tend to bother with dragons who are shy, so it wouldn't have been a direct friendship with Kura. Sunday frequently tends toward being insensitive and unkind in situations she believes don't matter. If your dragon isn't reasonably thick-skinned, he/she likely won't get along with Sunday. I'm thinking of creating a kind of Sunday and Augusta FAQ the way shim's doing with Reet. It'd be great for the newcomers and for future reference. ^^
