Date of Birth: September 28, 2003
Parents: Corinth and Atalanta
Siblings: Taranis and Kura
Color: greyish blue
Markings: dark blue stripes around his knees, toes, arms, and tail; wild markings on his forehead and below his left eye
Hair Color: palest blue
Eye Color: yellow
Height: 3' 1 1/2". He's tall for a blue, but blues are small dragons.
Talents: Biting, hunting, mating, swimming, frightening other dragons
Mate(s): Mocha was a past mate of Reet's. He has also spent time with Celeste recently.
Children: Pir, Mayumi, Soday, Amaretto, and Amaranth with Mocha, Faust and Ryouchia with Celeste
Likes: hunting, fishing, mating
Dislikes: females who won't mate with him
Disorders: mildly insane, violent
Bad Habits: Carrying around old corpses of animals he's killed
Fears: Just about nothing
Personality: Neurotic, primitive, and violent. Reet is like a cat on speed. He's not awfully bright, but physically he is the creme de la creme. He has excellent instincts. His favorite activities are hunting and fishing, and he's excellent at both. He has sharp senses, especially scent, which is his favorite way to identify other dragons. He also has a chewing fixation, and likes to put everything in his mouth. He's worse than a teething child.
Prized Possessions: Reet's most prized possessions are actually his children, especially Pir. Despite all his insanity and animalist tendencies, Reet can still tell his own and he TRIES to raise his children in his image. Second to them, however, Reet loves his Dead Seamonster (a relic set of jumper cables he dug up) and his favorite rabbit, which is headless and probably stinks to high heaven.

about how Reet is RPed, shimmercat Shaoli I have a question regarding Reet. Was he born the way he is, did it develop, or did some accident cause his...deviant mind? Sunday will look at his use to the community differently depending on above factors. He did, after all, father Pir. And Mayumi. You know what? I have no clue why he is the way he is. Maybe it's a form of autism, although that is usually linked to genius and that is not Reet. He is very dependent on the senses of taste and smell, and touch to a lesser extent. That, his oral fixation, and his general stupidness about the emotions of others is how I RP him. I try to make him vaguely amusing if I can -- dropd finds him hilarious and actually quotes a few of his lines. I haven't had much of a chance to RP him with his offspring, but he is actually quite paternal and recognizes his children by scent. Maybe he should be assumed to run more on instinct than thought. I was planning on making him a fighter, although he could also fish and gather. I doubt he could (would?) tailor or do alchemy. Hmmm. To answer your question, I think it is inborn. But it is an inborn defect. Kinda like a mix between Luffy from One Piece, Kiba from Naruto, and an autistic child. Of course, I created him before I had seen either show, but I bet that's the closest.

Pir: Pir tried to play catch with me, but my favorite rabbit fell apart and now he runs away all the time. He doesn't hunt his own food so I hunt it and give it to him.
Taranis: He digs a lot. I like to catch crabs in his giant dig-hole.
Celeste: Celeste mated with me once. I want to mate with her again.
Calliope: Calliope said she would mate with me but then said she wouldn't. But she did make me lots of tacos, and they tasted good.
Mayumi: She is no good to mate with because I'm her father. She bakes me food, though. I shouldn't chew on her hair because it's hurting.
Kismet: Kismet is blue like me. He has a very good mate. He saved me from getting eaten by the seamonster.
Sunday: Sunday is very big and very pretty. I like the way she smells. She will hurt me if I try to mate with her without her saying it's ok, though, so I leave her alone.
Kura: Kura is also no good to mate with because we came from the same mommy.
Silvarant: She is a happy little dracling! I like her.
Martina: Martina is very small and so I need to make sure nothing will eat her. Sharks will try to eat her.
Atalanta: Atalanta is my mommy. She's not good to mate with. But she has good hair for chewing.
Ri: Ri doesn't like my gifts. She said she wouldn't mate with me.
Xanth: Xanth doesn't like my gifts either. Xanth doesn't eat any rabbits at all!
Ryuujin: He can look at the funny blob-papers and they tell him things. He must be magic!
I have seen other dragons in the lair, but I have talked to them yet. I will tell you about them after I talk to them.

Reet noticed a very nice smell as he got closer to his room. He turned a corner and saw that there was a funny round brown thing in front of his door, that was making the nice smell! He snuffled it up and down and then took it into his lair. There he devoured it happily and messily.

::looks over my thread:: Yup, the only things that are mine originally are the family tree and the fanart section. Although I was the first one who suggested using the lairs for the same purpose the journals have in other breedables. But I don't think that was that original of an idea.

I'm considering just ignoring the possiblity, as it makes everything much more messy if they are.
