The Palace is situated just behind Galladan. Built out of the same kinds of bricks as Galladan, the Palace can be a sight to behold. Intricate designs are engraved on the outside walls of the Palace with silver and gold. The palace's design incorperates bits from each clan. It's spires reach for the heavens capped with obsidian from the Ash Fields; there are many gardens with various plantlife with streams and waterfalls.

The inside is much like that outside with various decorations and ornamentations from the different clans. There are many rooms in the palace to accomadate the many visitors that come from the other kingdoms. The five finest wings belong to the Queen and her advisors, seeing as they are the only permanent residence. The Queen's advisors act as liasons between her and the clans.

Uri and Lucius pulled themselves away from the side walls of of the chamber.

Uri was walking slowly, in apurpisful wlak that would get him there in good time.

Lucius was walking purpisfuly but quickly, trying his best not to run tot he queens side. The fire elemental had known the queen most of his life. Never as well as he wanted to, but well enough. Once he reacher her, he nelt down at her side an put his hand on her shoulder. "Charis!?" He said in a worried whisper. He looked up at her covered face, worry in his. "Charis? Are you okay?" He asked, knowing full well that she wasn't, but he didn't know what else to do.

Uri finaly reached them and stood in front of the two, hand on his staff, protecting his twin and his queen.

In no way did Lucius belive her, and he plainly said so with his raised eyebrow and and lopsided smile. He got up and moved so he was moslty behind her. He placed both his hands on her shoulders and started to rub them, messaging the knots and stiff muscles. He used his fire power to make his hands warmer than normal and continued to message her back, wroking up and down, but focusing on her shoulders and the knots he knew she developed there.

"I know." Lucius said so softly he bearly even heard it. He smiled and leaned down and placed his heand on her shoulder. "You need somthing. To get away, or a good practice session or a nice ride or good book...but somthign to take you mind off things. You have not yet gotten used to being on such high demand. If only you could have been eased into being queen...I'm sorry." Lucius said, hsi hands stopping.

Uri's eyes flicked around and he sighed. "YOur Majesty. Can we move to a more easily defencible area??" Uri asked pacently.

Lucius nodded and steped away from her. It wasn't until then that he realized that he had been up on the queen's dais with her. He flet feint. Ever since that stupid dace I've been getting more bold. What's going on, and is it good or bad? He stood back and waited for Charis to go first, so he could gaurd her back.

Uri steped forward so His queen could step off the dais. He felt Lucius thought, even though it want's directed at him. I do not know why. But I do know that Charis like you more for it. I I think it may be a good thing. Uri said, poking fun at his twin.

Uri had walked into the room first to check and then walked back out. Lucius walked in and shut the door behind him. As he did so, he knew and feel that his twin moved to stand right in front fo where the doors met. A living obstical in case someone wanted to harm thier queen.

Lucius stood in a mirror image to his brother only on the inside of the door. He felt he had been too bold in the throne room and didn't know what to do next.

Lucius had to work hard not the cring as the miffed tone in her voice. "I am sorry. I just-I am sorry Your H-Charis." He said and hung his head. He walked toward her and sat down on the floor next to her couch, his head still down. I do not know what to do. Everything I do seems to be wrong. Either in her eyes or the advisors...at least they didn't see the dance...


If they had seen the dance, they might be faster to let you two betogether. I have never seen two poeple dace as one a you and our queen did. It was as if you were an extention of each other. It was a sight to behold. A voice from the hallway said to Lucius.

Lucius snapped his head up and looked ot the door. "Really?!" He asked, forgetting the conversation had been a silent one/

Lucius was again glad that his skin already had a redish hue...that way his burning face wasn't as obvious. "Yes. He-he. Nevermind" Lucius mumbled and looked back at Charis. "Would you like anything?" He asked.

Uri slapped his head with his hand and shook his head. He loved his brother, but he was so timid when it came to Charis. He just wished the Queen could be there when Lucius was devending her honor or sparing with another of the gaurds. When she wasn't aroudn he was the perfect fire elementatl. Short temper, offended easily, strong, frighting, firy...if he didn't know she was there, he was everything she wanted him to be and more...but he was to deathly afraid of her...
