A thread to brag about the most awesome things you ever did in a game, ever saw done, or even had done to you. for starters, something that happened tonight: it was a multiplayer game, 6 or 7 players. one of them has two soul foundries (one with ornithopter, one with soul warden) a clock of omens and a doubling season. he makes five or so soul wardens, then uses the ornithopters and clock to go infinite, ends at 500,000,000 paper airplanes, all but two are tapped, along with most of his lands and other things in play. at that point two or three people scoop. I'm playing my empty toolbox deck, so i know if i can play, kill and replay netherborn phalanx a few times i can kill him once the foundries are gone, so i stay in. however, it's not until my turn starts and i take a serious look at my hand that i realise I am holding the ultimate play. i first dropped the aphetto alchemist i had planned on playing, so as to get my combo off the next turn, once he stopped being sick, but rather than passing the turn as i had planned, i played mesmeric orb. the guy next to me mills three cards, draws, passes the turn. the guy who just popped his combo realizes he has no way to stop the inevitale at the EOT step, and then mills for 500,000,000 cards and had to draw from an empty library. i laughed and laughed and laughed. and even got respec' knuckles twice from one of the two remaining players. i then went on to play plague wind two or three times and win, but that was the play of the day for me.

I have a heap of fond memories of magic plays, but the most recent of which is: Playing three copies of Cry of Contrition on the same creature, and then destroying it in the same turn! My opponent went from 6 cards in hand to 0 in the blink of an eye! And then The Rack kicked in to start burning for damage. Fun times.

having and in play and on my upkeep flipping That's 1,000,000 1,000,000/1,000,000 black minion creatures. The table of 8 opponents conceded instantly. For the record, in my play group anything goes. Unhinged and Unglued are legal cards, there are no banned lists and no restrictions. So what I did was fair.

Me and my friend were playign a match - his Myr deck versus my black cleric deck (his was all colors). I let him use . and when he used all but one of his library to make a bunch of tokens I played my favorite card: smile Enough said. (his deck was a solid artifact deck.)

Here's another one I thought was amusing. Was playing against a guy with an controlled infinite life loop deck. He was bragging before the game how this deck is oh so unbeatable. He threw out a few clerics, like Atalya, to help his life increase faster. He was laughing nearly the entire time as I played stuff like Painbringer and Planeswalker's Scorn. He kept laughing at what he called a 'futile attempt' and that I should concede. He had about 5000 life by then. Turn 4 he managed to trigger his loop (forget what it was exactly) and was at about 10,000,000 life. That's when he stopped the loop. About turn 5 I played . He laughed at it and dropped an extra cleric or two, tapping out his mana to gain even more life. Turn 6 I played . He stopped laughing when I attacked. He got exceedingly angry at me.

My brother, three of my friends, and I were playing a 5 player chaos game.
One of my friends had a Copperhoof Vorrac in play, along with about 7 Forests and an Elf (probably Elven Pioneer)
I Had 3 forests, and two Plains, A Veternan Armorer and 3 Saprolings
Another Friend of mine had Two Raging Goblings, a Rustmouth Ogre, and 5 mountains
My third Friend had two Islands, 3 Plains and a Bunch of Birds (do not recall)
and Finally My brother was wide open with 5 Forests and 3 Moutnains.
The Copperhoof Vorrac Attacks my Brother (the Vorrac at 20/20 upon attack, it's owner at 12 life, and my brother at 13 life) My brother asks them if that's their final move fore the phase (asking if they had any pump spells or something) and she said no. He taps Taps out and plays Grab the Reigns on the Vorrac, tossing the now 12/12 beast in her face... he makes some comment like "Donald Trump!" and tells her he was expecting an attack, being wide open and all. The rest of the game was just picking at eachother until the guy who had the Goblins pulled a win.

'Twas a 2HG Standard game, turn 3 or 4. I have a Carven Caryatid and some lands, my teammate was tapped out for Compulsive Research and no other permanents.
The guy I'm facing taps out 3 lands and Elves of Deep Shadow to play Nekrataal. My play: Peel from Reality, targeting his Elves and my Caryatid. The only target left: his teammate's Rimehorn Aurochs. 3nodding
Later that game: My teammate has his UrzaTron w/ some islands and forests, Protean Hulk and Llanowar Elves, facing a lone Jugan. I have Seedborn Muse and Drift of Phantasms both pumped huge (well into the 100's) with Evolution Vat. I face Nightmare and Nekrataal, but can't attack without getting chumped by Nekra and killed by an attacking Nightmare, so I target my guy's Llanowar Elf with Evolution Vat, which my teammate pumps up to 4/4 before I pass.
A cookie goes to whoever knows how my guy pulled a win on his turn.

That show rocked!!! ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ For awesome plays...uhh...a 3rd turn Mist of Stagnation and Leyline of the Void already in play. Pretty much instant win when your opponent cannot untap anything forever.

I was playing a 3 player game once and my friend had 3 awakenings in play, I had a djinn Illuminatus. During my upkeep, I added 30 mana to my mana pool and replicated a cerebral vortex 9 times, killing both my opponents (one was at 3 life and the other was at about 30.

My friend came over once and we got bored so we got my cards and decided to make decks with them. He said he was making a black deck, so I began looking for green/black anti-black cards. The game got underway and after keeping him at bay for a while I got this out on him: He just kinda gave up right there.

I had 4 nettling curses and 4 taste for mayhem attached to a friends card( I think it was a deathmask nezumi, and he had a full hand and I was hellbent, making his deathmask nezumi 20/3 with fear. I paid the obligatory mountain and a swamp for one of the nettling curses and made him attack me with it, which I blocked with a souls of the faultless. lol he lost and I gained 32 life in one swell foop. YAY!
