Well lets see..
My favorite is Tales Of Eternia. I remeber the day I got it. I was having my mom drive me to EBGame's to buy Chrono Cross after seeing my older cousin play it. As I walked in I looked all over and fount iut the game was sold out and another shipment won't be in for two months. Being pretty upset I started looking for something else to buy. Thene I saw it. A game that said "Tales Of Destiny II". I looked at the cover and saw how the battle system was (Not to mention the game was selling for cheap along whith the guide). So I took it home played it,Loved it and thats pretty much how I got into the series. thus Eternia has and will allways be my favorite. (Unless they remake it O_o)

Hmm...tough question for me now. I"m stuck between Tales of the Abyss and Tales of Destiny 2. So I guess both.
I was so hyped up on getting Tales of Destiny 2 after I learned a certain person was going to be in there *oh believed me I spoiled myself on this game A LITTLE TOO MUCH* and because it Tales of Destiny was one of my favorite games and because I wanted to see the hi-ougi's of this game. It just interested me so much
Tales of the Abyss-I like it cause the battle system is awesome*and cheap LOL* and the characters are very well created*except Luke with long hair*. There's alot of humor I like in the game as well xD;;

Destiny 2.
I'm sure by this point people know I'm no longer a Klarth-fanboy. Phantasia had it's moments but... Barbatos is a homicidal maniac, what's not to love about that, =D?
Destiny 2's plot was very nicely done, though a bit cheesy at the VERRRRRY end, the rest of it was solid and if I ever questioned it, it'd be solved shortly and thoroughly.

I say Tales of the Abyss even though I haven't finished it and it already pwns Symphonia. I love that game...

Hoshi no Kenta Destiny 2's plot was very nicely done, though a bit cheesy at the VERRRRRY end, the rest of it was solid and if I ever questioned it Oh boo hoo hoshi xD;;;;;; I like it being Cheesy! xP!! ^ ^;;; dun kill me lol

I can't say that I like a particular game out of the whole series because I've only played three: Phantasia, Symphonia, and Abyss. So far, I like Abyss the best. <3 Luke is a bitchy rich kid, Jade turned me into a fangirl, the women in the party weren't Mary Sues, and Guy is funny. surprised
The plot is pretty awesome, too. Although, Luke's "I want to change!" personality irked me at times. Sure, there were some cliched sequences in the game, but oh well.

I really can't stand Luke, but hopefuly that'll change.
Anyways, I remember playing Symphonia for the first time, while I actually didn't know about the actuall series at the time, I found it to be confusing. Then one day I was looking on Gaia, and I keep seeing Synphonia topics. So I go in and I talked to this one guy about the game, and it sounded pretty cool. Well not to go on about the series, my first REALLY good taste of the series is Tales of Legendia.
MELFES is rebirth_angel's favorite tales of game
I don't care what others say about the game, you can never change personal taste, and if you were to try...you whould be SWALLOWED WHOLE BY A GIANTRESS NAGA...just kidding. Seriously though, don't care what others say about it, I found it to be an enjoyable game, and it sort of hurt me that I wasn't able to finish it all the way. Though there were some parts that were confusing ((An out of place jazz solo)) and sometimes it's hard to string combos together, but regardless of that I love it.
Second place whould have to be Abyss. Unlike Symphonia, it's actually easy to play, and it's just so addictive. Though the only thing keeping me away from it is that the defence features takes away at what makes Tales of great in the first place. But still I love, and hopefully it won't be the last tales of game we get to see.
But that wraps it up for me.

I love that game, the characters, and the story.
Swordians are the best swords ever.
ToD also has my favorite OST heart

Believe it or not, I like Destiny 2 better than Abyss for the stupidest reasons...
I like ToD2's hi-ougis better. I'm sorry, the ones in Abyss just kind of bore me. Something about the voice acting in Abyss also didn't quite seem to flow. I think it was Van. Am I too used to bishi badguys?
Phantasia I'm probably going to say is. I have a feeling the extra features and voice acting in Full Voice will push it that much more for me. I'm just going to pretend it has new hi-ougis and face cuts to make the wait for a PSP that much more exciting.

Well I've only played Abyss and Symphonia but between those 2..I think I like Abyss more.
Abyss had better graphics, battle system, harder bosses, it was longer and better music. I also like the characters more. Guy, Arietta, and Jade are my favorite Tales characters right now.
