OK, so here's what's going on: I have a meet this weekend. I expect I will be dead tired by then end of it, if how tired I was today is any indication. The problem: We have try-outs for our school team on Monday. Does anyone have any hints that can help me keep my engry up for try-outs?

You will need to eat a good meal after the meet and get to bed and let your body rest. But when you eat don't just go to Wendy's or something. Eat something really good and make sure you cool down for at least 15-20 min and stretch really well periodicly during the day.

eat lots of grains, vegetables, and fruits. nothing to fatty, such as icecream, butter, etc., because they'll slow you down. grains, vegetables and fruits are the best, so pack a lot of them. warm up before you swim, and warm down after your done. stretch before you swim.

warm-up well, warm down more than you think is enough
eat well before and after the meet, take naps, and go to bed early
stretching will help too smile
