Both the ending and the beginning songs are great but the beginning seems to fit so much more with the series! ^^

the song fits PERFECTLY in my opinion, and it does say that the reflection of the future in a fruit...
and the part where it says ill show you the shining bright world

OVA stands for Original Video Animation, stressed which are for the anime movies, Death Note doesn't have any OVA yet, don't think it will be any. It is the series you are talking about.
The opening song is all right, but the video is fits well. The video pretty much shows Raito's idea of justice, i think those parts of the opening looks ridiculous/
