I just heard today, the big news. One of my best friends is engaged now. Im excited for her, and well excited I get to help her with it. Even be in it.
Not only her but also my other best friend here at college is also engaged, and my friend from back home is already married.
*sigh* I guess I can just sit back, help them and wait my turn. If it comes.

I was asked to be the bridesmaid in this very expensive wedding. But when I saw the dress I would have to wear I declined. The brides gown was about $1000. The wedding was absurdly expensive (her father was a millionaire). She had lived with her fiance for 3 years before they got married. Three months after the wedding, she left him. They got divorced.
Anyhow, on that note, congrats to your friend. I hope you have fun helping with the planning, that is a lot of work for sure, but can be a lot of fun too. =)

Thanks guys. But now she is on a rollcoster of emotions >.< We got into a fight about how to do a wedding tonight. She complained about money and suggested the justice of the peace. Meh...Im trying to be as supportive as I can, I know she wants this wedding bad. ;-;

Yeah...that's rough, Sara! I guess it's the idea of "finding the one, the one FOREVER", the start of a new life that frightens ppl; a new life spent with--ideally--one person. Or I guess it could be because the search is over; that they've found the one that's scary. All I know is that overall, it's scary. I'm scared just thinking about it, and I'm only 22! I'm already thinking, "God, I'm 22 already! I haven't found a gf yet and already I gotta think about getting married and having kids before 30-35! gaaaaah!"
To umar: lol, yeah, that's pretty tough that you have to decline, but I'm sure they understood. And statistically speaking, ppl who are bf/gf for a long time (i.e. for more than 2 years) generally don't get married, or stay married to each other for a short amount of time, or so I've read. I guess it's the idea that, "if you don't get married in the first year or so, you probably won't ever get married." Even if ppl live together, I think.

They just didn't know what they wanted I guess. Or she did not know. I always thought he was gay anyhow, not that I was correct. Or maybe I was...I have not seen either of them for a long time.

Ok we have managed to hammer out a few details.
~ Brides' maids dresses. (I have a picture of me in one if you want to see) ~ Where, time, and date. ~ Order of the ceramony. ~ Reception details ~ Working on the guest list.
All I have now to do for her is her invitations. Which I got a kit to make them, doing this as a engagement gift for her.

*giggles* Actually Ethan, she would feel releaved if you do show up. She is concired cause the possiblity of so few on her family showing up.
Like me, she is seen differently cause of certain things.
