Name - Tariel Gender - Female Age - 10 and a half Height - Uhh.... Weight - I don't know... 70 lb.-ish maybe Skin - pale-ish Eyes - light brown Hair - light brown with grey streaks, two pig tails and a lock at the front that loves to fall in my face Distinguishing Features - My grey streaks I guess... Favorite Color(s) - umm... dark grey Favorite Food - dunno... I'm not too picky Good at - understanding things the first time through, reading, watching Bad at - interacting with other people... Personality - ... I think it's be better if Ren explained this.... Tariel is very quiet and introverted. She hates being in large crowds or being the center of attention. However, she loves friends and to be able to have a good conversation with another person. Or at least that's what she thinks... She hasn't actually met anyone that she could really talk to other than her father and he died. It may take a while but once she warms up to a person, she might be the most trust worthy person they'll know. She hates to lie and hates lies; even if the truth hurts she would rather hear it. She is always questing for more knowledge. When she can, she'll have her nose in a book. And when she can't, a book will usually be nearby, waiting for her. Her favorite subject for research is wolves; however her knowledge is limited still. She is a more or less a wallflower until one gets to know her. Even then she is still kind of timid and places others' wants above her own.

Well, There's Ren of course. XD
But onto actually friends.
Jakt - I met him at the train station when it came in. He seemed friendly then. However, I know he's a wolf.... almost surprising but... He still seems nice but also a little confused.
Nina - O.o I met her in an ally near home. She's a wolf. And she seems to not like humans much at all... so of course she and I didn't hit it off to well. I tried to be friendly...

Elestren Tariel snuck out of her house as she usually did, through the front door. And, as usual her mother and brother had not noticed. Her mother was in the kitchen muttering to herself about "bad times" and her brother was absorbed in the few magazines he had. Once she was outside she took in a breath of air. Yep, just the same as always. She relaxed herself and walked on, out into the street for a bit then down one of her favorite allies. It had nice places to sit where she could read undisturbed by others... usually. The occasional scrawny animal would pass by, maybe asking her for a scrap, which she never had.
And so she removed her book from her pocket and absently pushed the lock of hair that fell in her face back into place. She opened the book and was, almost at once, taken to the land it described. It was one of her two or three fantasy novels, as she did not think of wolves as fantasy but real. Ary Keeyara The filtered and artifical sunlight of the dome cast it usual rays over the run-down buildings, bringing to life strange shaped shadows that reached every corner the eye could see. The dull, despairing colors of browns and grays were easily seen and hardly ignored. But no one in this place cared-all that mattered was surviving to see another day, even if it appeared to be the same as the last.
Quiet feet patted along the stone ally-way, quick and yet unnoticed by the few that were hanging around out in broud daylight. Upon reaching the back of the small street slim fingers fixed into the cracks in the brick. Shoes slipped their tips onto small holdings as their owner began to make their way up the wall. Upon reaching the top one hand pushed off against the rough surface and flung the girl's entire body over the wall with agile skill.
She landed neatly on her feet, seeming unscathed and unphased by the large drop. Black and gold hair framed her face neatly falling just down to her shoulders. A few slices of ham hung limply from her mouth, as she obviously found it hard to climb with them in her hands. Blue eyes shifted sharply over to Tariel who sat nearby only to narrow again in displeasure at company. Elestren Tariel, noticing the other girl almost instantly having learned to keep an eye out in the city, looked up. The girl had food in her mouth but once she seemed to have notice Tariel she didn't look very friendly. So Tariel only watched her warily, not looking away from her but not moving or saying anything yet.
This was probably one of the first people her own age that Tariel had come in close contact with in a while. Secretly she wished to befriend her but she still didn't really trust anyone, and that was probably a good thing. But still she wanted to have someone to talk to, to just hang out with. But she waited to see what the other girl would do. Ary Keeyara Nina, however, did not seem to share the girl's secret wishes. Her nose wrinkled slightly in annoyance. This girl reeked, almost to the point where it made her head hurt...but then again, so did all of her kind. Placing one set of fingers on the ham in her mouth she ripped it out, leaving a piece inside her teeth for her to swallow. With that she turned on her heels, her body unwinding as she was about to race off back into the winding streets once more. Elestren Seeing the girl turning to leave Tariel stood up blurted out, "Wait. What's you're name?" She immediately regretted it, thinking of the contempt in the girl's eyes, but she could not talk it back now. So she waited, watching the other girl, hoping not to get attacked or anything. Ary Keeyara The girl stopped, her muscles tensing in her body as she suddenly prevented her movement that had been so sure to happen a moment ago. She turned her head slightly, glancing back at Tariel. Eyes of chilling blue did not blink as they stared at the girl and finally she spoke with venom dripping in her voice, "Why in the world should I tell someone like YOU my name?" Elestren Tariel was terrified and shrank backwards a step or two. "W-well... I... er, thought it would at least prove meeting each other," she stammeringly suggested lamely. This girl seemed really mean and Tariel wanted to run but she was rooted to the spot, her subconscious mind racing. Why is this girl so mean? She treats me as if I'm of a lower intelligence or race or something... Why does she do that? Who/what is she? Ary Keeyara "I don't want any proof of meeting you," The girl replied sourly, her gaze never wavering. She could smell Tariel's fear...and it only made her more disgusted. Such flighty things, she and her race were...much like birds. If this girl knew what she really was...Nina had to stop herself from grinning at the thought of the other girls many possible terrified reactions. Elestren Tariel lost a little of her fear in curiosity and it showed on her face. It was obvious the girl didn't like her and that would have been enough for most people to back up the other girl's answer but Tariel, with all her curiousity thought there was something more. Ary Keeyara "Pssttt. I don't have time to waste on people like you," The girl said with a click of her tonge, her tone sharp and scornful. Her frigid(sp?) eyes broke away for the first time as turned her head back round. Sticking the meet in her mouth again she pulled her hands up behind her head and began to walk away, her shoes barely making a sound on the stone, which was unusual for even careful walkers or thieves. Elestren Now Tariel was a little annoyed. For one, her questions weren't being answered and for two, that was the second time the other girl had said something about "people like you" or "someone like you". After the other girl had moved off a bit, supposedly far away enough not to hear her, Tariel whispered her frustration. "And exactly what are 'people like me' and what makes us different from you?" She didn't expect to be heard and turned around, trying to decide where to go now that she had been disrupted here. Ary Keeyara "Wouldn't you like to know?" The girl called back with a bark of a laugh, almost dropping her small meal. Anyone who didn't know much about her should be surprised she heard such a mutter from such a difference, but Nina didn't care. Stupid humans...why should she care about them. She continued to walk away, just turning the corner, thinking her call would be the end of it.
