Yes we all know that Dimebag Darrell is dead but that's even more reason to make this thread. We must also remember that loyal fan Nathan Gale died as well after murdering Dimebag on stage.
Also the band is good and adds some Texan flavour to heavy metal.

First off Pantera was never metal they're cosidered to be Hardcore at best.

Most documentaries on music leave out a lot of stuff or get a ton of s**t wrong. But I've never seen it, so I can't talk.

On myspace Pantera is classified as Metal, but I doubt that anyone would classify them as a ridiculous genre like Groove Metal, that would just tarnish the memory of Dimebag.
