This battle is between Devil_Sword and Talianiara. It will take place on the flat lands.
-No Godmodding -No Auto-Hits -No two line posts, try keep posts a bit longer for more detail -No kills, we dont want to loose anyone -No hard feelings, lol -Have fun
Breaking the first two rules during battle will result in a forfeit of your turn and opponent will treat the post as if you flinched, leaving you with no defence or offence. The last 4 are more guidelines. Goodluck.

(my first battle rp so idk how good i am) sword walked out onto the large flat slab of earth and planted his feet firmly on the ground, he took out his gun youkai and then threw his coat on the ground behind him. he had waited a while to test talia's strenght and now this time will come. the breeze went through forcing his hair to sway back and forth as he waited for talia to appear.

Talia entered the arena silently. It had been a while since she had battled a competent opponent. She was looking forward to this exercise. She was fairly certain that she had not seen Sword's full capability yet, but she also knew that he had not seen her full strength. It should prove interesting. His gun would be an annoyance though. She took up her place at the opposite end of the arena, the before-battle-calm sweeping over her and narrowing her focus to her opponent. She was ready.
(Mine too. And I do know how good I am. Or rather, how not good I am.)

sword did not want to start off this battle at his fullest, rather work his way up to it. he transformed into a massive, great dane sized, wolf with deep red eyes and huge black paws. he looked more so that of slightly puney but still feirce black bear. he was extremely fast in this form and was ready to dodge anything that she may throw at him.

Talia stood, balanced and ready to attack, and watched Sword carefully. She would not risk a throwing knife at this distance. He would have to come to her if he wished to fight. Her hands hovered beside her long knives, prepared to draw them when he came. She almost ached with the desire to attack, to fight and think of nothing else, but she knew better than to attack blindly. She would wait.

however good talia was at holding back sword was ready to loose. he was about to spring or fall forward depending on if he let himself. he decided not to fall but jump. he jump about 10 feet forwards and then started to run towards talia. He was extremely happy to get to fight in wolf form again. he would not jump into the air to attack, that would leave him open for an attack from below for he could not dodge. he worked off some of the nerves by running in circles around talia hoping to do many things. one to confuse her. two to work off his anxiousness. and three to get her to make the first move.

Talia did not twitch when Sword jumped. He was too far away to reach her in one bound. One of her long knives was out before he came close enough to be a reasonable threat. She watched him calmly, her frustration ebbing into the cool of battle. She did not attack as he circled her, but watched, her eyes somewhat blank, turning with him, and not allowing him near her exposed back. She could wait in this state, if need be, until he wore himself out. But should she? She considered, as she watched him circling. There were advantages to striking now. She jumped lightly back away from him, and retrieved one of her throwing knives and sent it at him in one movement. At this distance, her chances of missing were fairly slim, but her gaurd was already up again, and she was ready, should he attack immediately.

sword was caught up in running when she threw the knife at him. he jumped to dodge it becasue he was moving rather quickly but the knife was moving a tad quicker than him. it knicked his tail. he grimaced at the blood dripping from the tip of his bushy black tail. he wanted to lick it but figured that would be a quick loss in this battle. he decided to start with the katana after testing her a bit he did a small teleport to his coat transforming in the proces adn picking up the hidden katana from his coat. and preparing for an attack from teh knives again. he was not skills whatsoever with a sword, he would just hack away at whatever came his way. he knew it was sharp and could cut thats all he needed.

Talia felt no particular pride or joy that her knife had struck. She watched as Sword teleported away and drew his katana. She was at a disadvantage, at least a slight one, in this fight. He had a considerable reach on her, but it depended upon his skill. She would wait for him to attack, wait for an indication of his abilities. She pulled out her other long knife, but held her position.

sword knew that talia probably coudln't teleport, so he did not plan on using that ability more than needed. sword had put youkai in a side holster and was now preparing for an attack that he though may decide this battle if he failed or succeeded. he was going to use an arial attack which he would hope would trick her, he quickly attempted to create a double in her eyes and if it worked she would not see it yet it was directly behind him following his precise step and then when he got close enough he wold jump for and arial attack with the katana. for hia lfe, hopefully she atleast saw some vauge outline she could mistake for him.

Talia stood watching Sword approach. He seemed to be going for another fairly direct attack. It seemed rather odd that he would do so, but she had no conclusive proof that he was doing anything other than what he appeared to be. She was prepared to take the direct attack that he seemed to be presenting or to get out of the way quickly, should it be a trick.

sword jumped while talia saw the double, he hoped, and started for an arial attack. by the time it was too late he couldn't do it. he could not end the fight like that. he wanted so bad for her to block this attack if she didn't he would either stop where he was and shift to the side if he could manage or jump over her in wolf form.

Talia saw Sword prepare to spring, clearly trying for an aerial attack, and then suddenly there was only a flickering shadow. Without waiting to confirm what she somehow knew to be true, her long knives were up, ready to block an aerial attack, and, sure enough, she saw him coming down upon her. She blessed the instincts that had told her of the trickery, and braced herself.

sword was extremely grateful for this dodge. he jumped backwards and stood there with his katana in hand, the blade had been cut and chipped all over from previous battles, but it was still sharp. (now was the only time to get a good look at it) the guard was unusually shaped, it was a swirled guard with red and black handle with the ray skin not showning through it all. there was a small crest, of which could not be seen from talias distance, but it was the same symbol that was burned into his back, the mark of his clan. he sat there posed for either defending or attacking. he readied to charge but knew shed have throwing knives stuck in him very fast. he waited a small time wanting her to move first.

Talia decided that it was again time to take the initiative. She darted towards Sword, her double blades out. Should she manage it, she planned to disarm Sword, twist the katana from his grip. From what she had seen, it was not his strongest weapon, and her knives were nearly an extension of her body.
