I wouldn't say I expected it, but I wasn't totally suprised when it was revealed. Darren Shan seems to like to tie everything together so it kind of made sense. I mean when you think more into the subject it is very gonk but the initial idea of it isn't that asonishing.

Yeah, he has a way of linking things together really well. But i find there's ALOT of surprises throughout the book. Good and bad.

Still true, but after reading it a couple times I've noticed that it makes sense that of course it would be Steve, but on the first time it's a little bit of a 'Woah!'
