Yay! I'm finally making this. I will be done with it in a little while. In the meantime, read some of it.
Silent Hill is a series of survival horror games for the Sony Playstation and Playstation 2. The town of Silent Hill houses the most horrorific nightmare that anyone could ever dream of. The monsters in Silent Hill are gruesome, creepy creatures unlike any others in the genre. My favorite is "Pyramid Head" or "Red Pyramid" (Pics to come later). The story behind the strangeness of Silent Hill is woven within the 4 games of the series (so far).
Silent Hill also has a movie loosely based off of the first of the games in the series. Horror movie fans should recognize the title and many have probably seen it.

FYE? I think our mall has one of those now. And I like Silent Hill's mystery and meaning, everything in these games serves a purpose...

I LOOOOVE Silent Hill! heart
Well I'm more intrersted in the Henry-Heather-Cheryl-Alessa story (SH1 & SH3) and the story of the town itself (mostly SH1), and I'm less interested in the gameplay and stuff.
I didn't like the movie at all. That just wasn't Silent Hill...
And I don't get why everyone's favourite monster is pyramid head! The one that creeps me out the most is the one with 2 baby heads and no legs (I forgot it's name).
Ok it's victims 7+8

I played the first Silent Hill when I was 12 years old (or less), it made me sleep on my mom's bedroom...
It's not "lalalalalala! BOO!" terror, it's that terror that is always on your heels, waiting the best opportunity to scare the bajeezus out of you.
I agree that a good part of the game is you trying to discover why the hell everything happened and such, if you didn't play this game, go get an old PSX, emulator, etc. AND PLAY IT! pirate
