That you want to play the SIMS rather than the Sims 2?
I had all the expansion packs for the first sims and miss some of the options. I really feel like installing them all just for fun even though the Sims 2 has much better graphics.
Do you have the first sims?
Do you have any expansion packs?
Do you remember what the first sims was like?
I think Im going to go install them, I haven't played them in awhile!

No, but my brother does. He enjoys it.

Not for the PC, but I do remember the Playstation one.

I had them all! I was such an addict. >.> I thought about installing them when I had no dvd drive and no way to install the sims2 base game (I've got the dvd version) but I never did.
one time I managed to time it just right and went to buy mode just as a fire was starting and was able to burn the clown picture while the clown was there. it was awesome. XD

well sumtimes!! the butler was pretty handy,i miss vacation,i wish sims 2 could do that,who knows what comes next! (beside Seasons,watever its called!!)

Do you have the first sims? I first got "hooked" on The Sims playing the original version. I loved it so much my brother installed "The Sims Online" onto my computer and I beta tested the game and played it for about a year after it was released to the public. After playing the online version, I was too bored to play the original version because it was a lot alike, but I couldn't talk to anyone. Eventually I ended up quitting all versions of The Sims and losing all the disks. I lost all interest in the game until The Sims 2 came out and it rekindled my love for The Sims.
Do you have any expansion packs? I started craving The Sims again last year at Christmas time, and I found "The Sims Complete Collection." I re-installed them into my computer and what do you know, I still had the rejuvination machine on my computer. (It looks like a shower but makes all your bars go green.) I was happy when I found it.
Do you remember what the first sims was like? I still play The Sims once in a while, but to be honest, compared to The Sims 2, the old version is kind of boring.
There was a really cool commercial for The Sims with a man and a woman sim laying on the beach and getting confronted by another couple, who is kicking sand in their faces. The girl sim gets up off the ground and punches the other girl out and takes off with her boyfriend. It was so funny, and that was the reason I ran and bought The Sims to begin with. I tried finding the commercial on youtube, but couldn't. If anyone finds it, can you pm me a link? Thanks!

There's some things I liked better on The Sims rather than The Sims 2 - one thing I adored was the fact that you could have a dragon in The Sims: Making Magic. I really wish they'd have incorporated that into The Sims 2: Apartment Life.
Another big thing for we was the pets in The Sims: Unleashed compared to the pets in The Sims 2: Pets, I find the pets from The Sims adorable compared to the pets in The Sims 2, but that's just my opinion.
It's funny how we'll soon have this conversation about The Sims 2 once The Sims 3 comes out!!
