There's a discussion in the white text. Hell, I bet you never saw that coming! Of course you didn't, it was white. Duur.
If you were part of the Q would you use your powers for good or for bad?

You gotta wonder if Riker hadn't refused if Q would have intruduced the powers slowly or quickly. What would the writers have had happen?

I say we have a "what if" thread. That way each of us can write out what we'd have happen. The posts wouldn't have to be pages amoung pages long. Just a general idea. An outline if you will.

So, a bunch of people in my suite are eacting dinner and a few of us are watching the first episode of Gargoyles on someone's laptop, and suddenly there's Riker's voice. And my roommate, fellow Star Trek fan, who was seated so she couldn't see the screen got a very confused but excited look on her face.
My friend who owned the DVD said, "wait until Counselor Troi shows up."
That's my only Riker story, and I will continue to watch Gargoyles in part just for Johnathan Frakes' voice.
(A what if thread sounds cool. I would at least lurk there.)

You mean this guy?  He does look a lot like an evil cartoon Riker anyway. I remember an episode where Wesley got hit in the face with whipped cream or something and Riker laughed and it sounded totally evil.
