OMG! Disney is planning a doing a 2D movie...but it won't be out for a really long time crying and the movie is.... The Frog Princess. Here's some info from Wikipedialet's hope this movie will do well and Disney decides to stick with 2D animation. but before that comes out there are gonna be at least 3 more CGI movies (Meet The Robinsons (there are already previews for this), American Dog, and Repunzel). i really hope Disney goes back to 2D...but I gotta admit the concept art for Repunzel looks pretty cool (they have some on wikipedia). Hopefully it will successfully follow in the footprints of the traditional princess movies

I am so excited! Ben is a wikipedia nut, so he already told me about these movies sometime in September I think. mrgreen It will be refreshing to see 2D movies again.

Looks like everyone forgot about Ratatouille. It's coming out next year I think. Don't trust Wikipedia too much, much less anywhere else online. Trust only the official Disney magazines like Disney Adventures and plain Disney magazine, if they still make it. That, and movie trailors.

General Lea Looks like everyone forgot about Ratatouille. It's coming out next year I think. Don't trust Wikipedia too much, much less anywhere else online. Trust only the official Disney magazines like Disney Adventures and plain Disney magazine, if they still make it. That, and movie trailors. but Ratatouille is Disney/Pixar not just Disney

Other sources besides Wikipedia confirm this, such as Movie-TV News on IMDb. Plus it was announced at ComicCon, as Animation World News and LaughingPlace.com confirm. It's also been reported in Daily Variety, which is hardly an "unreliable Internet source." So if this isn't for real, Disney's pulling off an elaborate hoax. Oh, and according to LaughingPlace, John Lasseter floated the idea of converting "Rapunzel" into a 2D feature (it's slated to be computer animated), but director Glen Keane didn't want to.

Maybe it's just me, but I think Disney/Pixar movies have better stories.... Maybe, maybe not, but I seem to feel that way. I mean, I really don't like how they seem to give the lesser stories to 2D animation, where as the somewhat better stories get glorified CGI...

2D! =D YAYYY! I miss it. As much as I love Disney/Pixar movies...2D just has that spark that screams "DISNEYYYY!" at the top of it's lungs. xD
