someone in florida should try to get a yaoi/slash convention o.o cali is real far away after all x.x; it would also be nice if it wasnt only anime that it refers to other things harry potter,lotr,potc, ect. that way people who want to cosplay can be other characters other then only anime characters.
or the idea is just a fangirls dream and needs to be left alone x.x;;;

Actually, if all the Yaoi/slash stuff that goes on at local conventions isn't enough.. There's something wrong.
BUT. You pointed out why this is a bad idea. It's Yaoi, but 90% of attendees are female. WHAT'S SO WRONG WITH HETERO SEX? crying

mabey it's just the whole fact that it's something they can't have. I mean men oggle over lesbians. So, the teenage girl needs to have something to oggle over too, they just chose the opposite of lesbians, gay guys.

There are some that the obsession to an unhealthy level. Most girls, it seems, once they have a fulfilling real hetero relationship forget about it, but I've known one or two that seem almost incapable of having relationships and this is a large factor. +_+
