HAPPY HALLOWEEN

Hello newbie’s and long time lion owners, welcome to our little Halloween bash here at the Pride Lands. I plan on trying out some new and fun events, so with all hope things will go smoothly, along with the old fashion ones too. I will be starting a little something later tonight (midnight EST) that will continue for X amount of rounds over X amount of days. But more on that as things unfold, keep an eye on the post below for updates...

Updates

Oct: 27th @ 9:00 PM EST: The game will begin at midnight (EST, everything will be in EST so that I don't get confused...if you have any trouble with conversions just post and ask, everyone around here is very helpful). The rules and the game itself will be announced at 11:00 giving everyone an hour to ask questions and understand. There will be quite a few rounds if this so if you miss this one don't worry there will be more chances and more games. At the moment I haven't made up my mind as to how many rounds and since this is a new one for me I'll decide that after we try around (which will count) but this way I know how much time it will take or confusion it will cause. As always read all the rules and updates (as I make them) and please NO FIGHTING and play nice. All gaia rules and Pride land rules apply and this should be an eventful Halloween
Oct:27th @ 11:00 PM EST: Hang Person! Or in other words the politically correct version of Hang man. This game idea was suggested by Faeriserena and credit goes to EldersPark for the idea. *Such wonderful line art and coloring skills* Okay enough admiring and onto what you are playing for. The exact prize that you will be playing for will not be announced until I decide how many rounds will take place; this round is my way of judging that. But I can tell you this there will be two prizes, an overall grand prize for the person who wins the most rounds (in case of a tie those people will be thrown into a raffle and the winner will be drawn), and another prize that everyone who wins will get a ticket for (one for each win, multiple wins = multiple tickets; though you can only win one prize in this game). Now how to play…

There will be an image with blank spaces and just like any game of hang man the object of the game is to get the statement filled in without hanging the poor guy. Before each game I will post with the image the number of wrong chances you will get before you loose (the first game has 7 strikes for example). Ideally the harder games will have more and the easier ones less, but to an extant I’m just making things up as I go so we will see how well that works. Be patient with me…

Now in order to fill in the blanks I will role a six sided dice and you, the player, will role your six sided dice. The first person to get the same dice number as me will get to guess a letter or try and solve the puzzle (they will have ten minuets from the time they role the same number as me and their guess has to be in, if for some reason someone can’t within this time period, such as parents make them get off or internet dies on them or they just forgot to check, then I will re-role and it will start again). I’ll then update the image, if the person guesses a correct letter or correctly solves the statement then the space or spaces will be filled, but if the letter guess or the puzzle is not correctly solved then a part of the hangman will be added.

Oct:28th @ 2:00 AM EST 2nd round suspended until morning, planning on 9:00 AM EST. Though the Grand Prize for the contest will be located in the last post right under the hang man pic. Most prizes in this event will be Hyena's or familiars but I have a few lions up my sleeve that never got owners last Halloween...I think they are over due for one, don't you. Also please see the third post, anyone interested in a chance for a custom Familiar and or bringing more people (and thus making it more fun) there will be a little contest.

SIG CONTEST

Would you like a chance for a Free Custom Familiar from the lovely Faeriserena (with a black and orange halloween theme of course)? RAFFLE
Avvie Lion

It seems like more and more in the thread I have been seeing people saving up for an Avvie Lions. Well here is a chance for anyone who has been, dreamt of, or would like to get one and at that for rather cheep too. I (Odet Amo) am Raffling one slot for a single (any) stage lion (will not be completed till after I finish up some growings). Everyone is allowed to claim one free ticket for themselves. After that it is only 100g, but you can not hold more then 5 tickets (so no one can spend more then 400g on this). All trades go to Ushiclone and this will end at 11:59 PM EST Oct 31st.
