This is a strange little thought that popped into my head-
Say if Temari were from the leaf village and you had to pick a hokage out of Temari and Shikamaru who would it be and why?
I personally think that Shikamaru would be a very good Hokage ( not saying that Temari wouldn't!) But he's got such great strategic skills and although he'd definetly find it " Troublsome" he'd see the village through a lot of things!
And say if he and Temari were going out ( or more) he'd have a positive supporter! smile
What do you think?

I'd still go for Shikamaru. He's an extraordinarily smart man, and although it's a troublesome job, I'm sure that he'd have Chouji there to keep him motivated, much like the Tsunade-Shizune thing they've got going on.

I go with Shikamaru. Temari is awsome. But I personally think that Shikamaru's way of being level-headed is good. Not to mention that he's very smart and wise. He'll know how to handle things really well. He'll complain like he always doed but at the end he'll do it. XP Gotta love Shika! LIke FireonIce said...Chouji will support him along with his gf Temari.

Probably.... but knowing that Naruto is Shikamaru's friend Shikamaru probably wouldn't let her do so for long. ( that's just my opinion) whee

He may be lazy but he will do something if other people are counting on him. Besides, being the Hokage would mean he wouldn't ever have to go on missions. He just might be up for the challenge...

Well I think Shikamaru would be Hokage... But he most certainly wouldnt be in charge...
Random ninja: Hokage-sama!!! The village is under attack!!! What is your plan of action?!?!
Shikamaru: Meh... Too troublesome.
Temari: stressed *holds fan threatingly* What was that Shika-kun?
