Intro-
Once long ago, everyone excepted spirits for what they are; the force that lives within everything in the universe. Some contained in bodies, like humans, animals, trees, and elements. Some just lived in their astral forms as their bodies perished. The astral spirits would roam the world freely, enriching the earth with their unique abilities. Over time, most humans stopped believing in such things as science became widely accepted; so spirits became like fairy tales; mythical things that may have never even existed. People stopped seeing them, so the spirits retreated into hiding; for the humans in their ignorance did not deserve their gifts. They then created the spirit world where they could live in peace away from human greed and wars. However, some spirits felt sorry for humans that still believed in them and their powers; so they oppened gateways between the human and spirit worlds. One of them is the spirit house; an old abandoned house that mysteriously draws people in, but may never let them leave. Once inside the house, it is rumored that the walls slowly dissapear, leaving people trapped in the spirit world. Sympathetic spirits created the portals, but not all spirits are so kind to humans. Some will help you, while others will do all they can to trap you in their world forever.

Apearance: 5' 4". Thin and pale-skinned. Green eyes. She has mid-legnth black hair usualy kept up.

Other: She's an orphan who found the spirit house while looking for somewhere to live.

Age: Appears to be 18
Breed: Fire Spirit
Personality: Strong, quiet around strangers, short-tempered

Apearance: Human-like apearance. 5' 6". She has red eyes and long brown hair in two braids.

Other: Umi's Younger sister
Name: Umi Shiko
Gender: Female
Age: Appears to be 19
Breed: Water spirit
Personality: Usualy Polite, clever, short-tempered, serious
Weapon (If any): A small paper fan. With blades build into the edges.
Apearance: Human-like apearance. 5' 8", Red eyes, long straight black hair.
Clothes: *picture coming soon* Wears a blue kimono and wooden sandals.
Other: Kei's older sister
Name: Haikuro
Gender: Male
Age: Unknown
Breed: Cat Spirit
Personality: Clever, light-hearted, sympathetic.
Weapon (If any): Claws, teeth
Apearance: He's a black cat with peircing gold eyes.
Clothes: None. He's a talking cat.
Other: He works for Kei and Umi in finding humans to work for them. He is often sympathetic of humans, however, and sometimes helps them.

Age: Seems to be 14
Breed: Spirit (the body of an anthropomorphic fox)
Personality: Intelligent, sarcastic, and a little bit perverted
Weapon: Customizable Gun
Apearance: A black-furred anthro fox, with a red tag and red eyes-- although he always keeps his eyes closed for a reason so far unknown. He can change size-- either 5'6" or 3 inches.
Clothes: None, although nothing is showing (fur is a little thicker... 'there')
Other: Can be solid or 'transparent', and those that manage to catch him solid can keep him in his form (size and solidity) with almost any bodily fluid except blood (saliva, digestive juices, 'love juice', etc.)

Name: Raine Oriku

Breed: Human
Personality: Up beat and optimitic. She likes to help everyone and anyone, but putting others before herself all the time gets to her some times. When this happens she usually gets a sad look on her face or cries when she thinks no ones looking. She doesn't like to trouble others so she keeps most of her own feelings to herself and tries to be happy all the time.
Weapon (If any): N/A for now
Apearance: She has short orange hair with mildly tanned skin and grey almonde shaped eyes. She stands a short 5'1" and wieghs 110 lbs.
Clothes: She wears a black 3/4 sleeved shirt, dark blue jeans and black winter boots; when it is cold she wears a blue fur trimed jacket.
Other: Walking home from school on day she came across the spirit house and her live hasn't been the same, especially since she is trapped.

Personality: Aaoa is a very responsible woman who will never miss an appointment. Aaoa loves to be surrounded by people and also loves to flirt even though she's not that interested in dating until she is done with school.

Other: Aaoa is currently enrolled in a professional dancing school and is studying Ballet for the year. She loves to dance and has a natural knack for traditional dances like the waltz and quick step.

Orechan smiled weakly as she aproached the old house, knocking on the door and standing patiently. She looked around at the condition of the house, confirming that nobody lived there. She lifted her heavy bag into the house as she opened the door. She began walking down the hallway, wondering if it would be a good place to live. She smiled and nodded, dropping her bag in an empty room and continued to explore the house. As she walked, the colors around her began to melt together. She stopped, rubbing her eyes and leaning against a wall; falling when it suddenly dissapeared. She colors slowly fused together until everything was black. Orechan snapped her eyes shut, slowly opening them to see the new environment appearing around her. She stood up un a small hilltop next to a half-dead tree. In the distance was a strange building, warm yellow lights shining out of many windows.
Kei sneered at her sister, who leaned against the wall lazily. The fire spirit abandoned her mop and bucket of water. "No way I'm cleaning today, sis. I'm not even touching that water. Why don't you do it? Just because you're older doesn't mean you're the boss of me".
Umi ignored her complaints, watching out the window with inrest. "I think we just got another human; so it shouldn't be long until there's more... We should get to them before the others do."
Kei walked over to the window, watching the distant hill. "Oh, you're right. I'll go send Hai-kun to take care of that."

Kei walked out of the room and down a long hallway, candles lighting in their holders on the walls as she passed. Eventually, she reached a large room busy with spirits and a few working humans. She went down a stairway into the pain part of the room, going to a strangely decorated door and tapping on it gently. It swung open before her, and she entered a small room to see a black cat resting on a red pillow surrounded by candles. Kei closed the door behind her, and a light went on.
The Cat spirit yawned lazily, opening one golden eye and smiling at Kei. "What, you need me again?"
Kei watched the flickering candles. "Hai-kun; I like what you've done the place. Is this why Umi can't come in? But anyhow, a human just arived nearby, and we expect more may come soon."
Haikuro nodded, jumping down from the cushion and heading out towards the door as Kei oppened it for him. "Just tell me where to go, and I'll take care of it for you, okay?"

Orechan looked around the landscape cautiously and then began to observe the large palace-like building. It looked welcoming enough, and she figured she had nothing to lose. She began heading down the hill towards the lights without further hesitation.
Haikuro padded down a stone staircase in a courtyard outside of the spirit palace, swaggering past the other spirits, who rolled their eyes and ignored the self-centered cat spirit. He climbed up a steep set of steps and sat atop the high wall surrounding the palace, watching carefuly for targets.

Foxby sighed, sitting back on top of the spirit house. Nothing had happened in... how long was it? He wasn't keeping track of time. Lately all he did was sit there and watch the sky. He walked to the edge of the roof and sighed, looking down. It seemed there was a human coming.

Orechan wandered near the walls of the building, suddenly pausing and looking around cautiously, as she sensed the presence of another being nearby.
Haikuro turned the corner to look for the human, when he spotted Foxby. The cat stopped, slowly turning and walking away.

Haikuro sat around the corner, eyeing Foxby and wondering if the tiny creature was edible; not caring what he was.

The cat quietly crept closer to the fox spirit, watching him hungrily.
Orechan continued to walk past, seeking the entrince of the palace-like building.
Kei walked back out into the main room of the spirit palace, ignoring all the busy spirits. She began to wonder if it was even worth it; capturing these worthless humans as workers.
