The alt. rock band with classical influences. Many don't know but Evanescence has been together since Amy Lee and Ben Moody formed it in 1998 same year they released their first piece of musical art called The Evanescence EP. But what the band is most known is their greatest masterpiece to date, Fallen. Also just this month they released their newest album, The Open Door with the every catchy song, Call Me When You're Sober which is about the break up between Amy and Shaun from Seether.
Post if you like them.

They had an album before Fallen came out called "Origin", & I really liked two tracks on that CD. I didn't like Fallen that much, as I found it sounded a lot different from Origin, but The Open Door seems to be coming back to that sound, so I'm happy. 4laugh

I liked Fallen more than Origin and I'm still trying to find out what the hell Amy was thinking with The Open Door, but that's just me. The lyrics are still kick a**, but they definately changed their sound.
Call Me When You're Sober is about her ex going into rehab.

Personally Origin or Fallen are my favorite albums since that was the time when Evanescence was becoming an actual band instead of the duo of just Amy and Ben. Also here's their entire discography:
The Evanescence EP - 1998 (Self release) The Sound Asleep EP - 1999 (self release) Origin - 2000 (Big-Wig Enterprises) Mystary EP - 2003 (Wind-Up Records) Fallen - 2003 (Wind-Up Records) Anywhere but Home [CD/DVD] - 2004 (Wind-Up Records) The Open Door - 2006 (Wind-up Records)

I like them and hate them, it depends. Sometimes, I think their songs just suck, and are all the same, but other times I just love them. They are ok i guess.
