Once Adam and Eve left the garden, they had 2 sons. They named them Cain and Abel. Cain became a farmer, and Abel became a sheperd. They both made offerings to the Lord. The Lord accepted Abel's offering, but not Cain's. Cain became very angry. God asked him "Why are you angry?". Cain did not care. He took his brother into the forest, and killed him. When he returned, God asked him where Abel had gone. "I don't know. Do I have to watch him everywhere he goes?!" replied Cain. " WHAT HAVE YOU DONE! YOU HAVE MURDERED YOUR BROTHER!", " Now you shall pay the price! The ground will not produce for you, and you shall be homeless. You shall become a fugitive wandering the Earth." "I can't handle this punishment! People will try to kill me!" Cain cried. "Any man who tries to hurt you will get 7 times worse the punishment!" exclaimed God. From then on, Cain was marked by God so that what God said was true. Cain was then sent East of the Garden and left.

That is the curse we suffer from unfortunately. We all have the capablility to and inclination to sin, but we have to rely on God's strength to break free of it.

Its amazing how jealousy and anger temp a man to kill his own brother just because he was greater than him.
I think that his pride was the rootcause. because it was crushed for God saw favor on the younger one
Have you notice that God always chose the younger one? like Joseph and Reuben, Jacob and esau...
