*The archives are a small building behind the school, entirely underground except for the roof. Steps lead down to the door, which is locked with a ward... only a guildmember may enter.
Upon entering the archives, one can immediately feel and smell the cool, musty air. This room has a sense of age that is absent from the rooms inside the school. It's too dark to see, but there is an electric light switch installed on the wall next to the entrance. It looks like it is a recent addition.
Once lighted, the shelves and shelves of books are visible... these books are clearly ancient, and it is likely that they have been enchanted to protect them from the ravages of time...
In the center of the room, there is a large workdesk with a magnifying glass, for any who care to study.
Somewhere within the archives lies a mystical tome of immense magical power... but, as this power lies dormant, it cannot simply be "detected". Considering the vast quantity of books stored in the Archives, and the probability that such a book would be disguised, it would be next to impossible to find it unless one had a very good idea what they were looking for.*

+walking into the new place she looks at the lights. Scared slightly that the could just fall down.. she veered away from them and looked at the books. Awed slightly by the size of the place and the books that it held, she smiled as she ran her long tail over the binds of a bunch of books. Poking at a few she blew off the dust with a sneeze. Grabbing a book she paged through it wondering what was in it.. and what all of it meant.+

*Dorn walks into the Archives slowly, carefully, cautiously. He takes each step with an air of reverence... with a bit of hesitation, he walks over to the nearest shelf, scanning the book titles one by one. They ranged in size from small pamphlets to massive tomes with spines almost half as wide as the sections of shelf they were stacked in.
Regliot Westriotum, by Sathor Ahrej... Umbrella in the Torrent, by Martin Aherlamat... Ale to Zsaor (A Beginner's Guide to Tipples), by Perd Ahermgul... The PRICE of Peace!, by Marther Ahern (The word 'price' was written in large, inflammatory letters, and glancing down the shelf, Dorn noted many pamphlets and small books by Marther Ahern... he seemed to be a political activist of some kind, judging by the titles). The shelves were full of titles, yes, but starting like this he would never find anything useful.*
I could read them all, *he considered*. I could probably read every book in here, and I would be able to remember it, too. Wouldn't take me much longer than a year or two to read them all. *And he was sure it was true, too... he didn't know how he knew, but he did. He didn't think he had any limits as far as knowing things... the only drawback was that a year was an eternity with the way he was growing. By the time he'd read all of these books, he'd probably be an adult... and he's be so far behind Kenji that he'd never catch up.*
*Dorn grits his teeth* In one year...
*he shakes his head and steps away from the shelf. He walks back around to the table, and looks around.*
If that's the A section...
*he turns around, peering into the darkness at the other side of the Archives, only the faint outline of the opposite wall visible.* ...And... the Z section is over there...
*his vision drifts to the middle of the room.* ...Then... I should probably start by looking here... *he slowly walks over to the shelves at the middle of the room.*

*he begins to read the volumes on the shelf... it appears to be part of the M section. The titles
The Strongest Bond, by Reshlin Metrino... The House at Hastar Point, also by Reshlin Metrino... Archive Ledger (Volume 13), by... interestingly enough, this one didn't have a listed author. The book was enormous... it was easily thicker than it was wide or tall... probably about a foot and a three quarters, Dorn guessed. It was obviously enchanted, because no normal book with a spine that big could last for longer than a few years before the binding just gave up, and this book looked ancient. Dorn opened it to the first page. It was covered in some language Dorn did not understand, so he flipped a few pages. There began a list of authors, in small text:
Maababed, Nicholas (Section 13 A) Maababen, Mark (Section 13 A) Maababen, Roland (Section 13 A) Maababit, Opris (Section 13 A) Maababis, Groll (DISCONTINUED, See Librarian For Details)
Dorn quickly discenered one basic fact: the book was no more useful than randomly searching the shelves. He closed the book, then reopened it to a random page, much further ahead. This page looked somewhat different:
MOLARS -----Anatomy of (7028, 9362) -----Extraction of (5210) -----In Chemical Sciences (See MOLES) -----Uses for -----------Basilisk (10689) -----------Cockatrice (10689) -----------Demon (8660) -----------Djinn (6111) -----------Dragon (8342)
The list went on and on... Dorn flipped past the useless stuff impatiently until he came to MARTIAL ARTS, Basic Principles of. checking the pages listed, he chooses a match under an author in the T section named Fessuv Tavlin. Quickly, he gets up, sets the M Ledger away on it's shelf where it belongs, and heads off to the T Section...*

*Now that he knows what to look for, he quickly finds the book- Basic Principles of Martial Arts (Volume One), by Fessuv Tavlin. He takes it off the shelf, and, as an afterthought, takes Volumes Two through Nine as well... all he can carry at once. Staggering to make sure the carefully balanced stack of books doesn't fall, he makes his way to the table and sets them down. There are plenty of chairs, so he pulls one up and sits down. Dorn opens the book and starts to read from page one...*

Sora enters, now finally in control of his aura reading power.
"Well, I can control it, no I need to enhance it, make it stronger, and maybe even beyond the limits Jerrit set. I could see the energies that make up anything..." he laughed, "Well, enough rambling, time to find a book on visor powers." He looked through the shelfs, looking past each book until he came up a book, seeming vaguely familiar from the heart-shaped symbol on the spine. He picked it up, dusted it off, and looked at the front. He than spotted another book, picking it up.
Reading aloud: "Power Of The Senses, by Heishiro Uskei" than turning to the other book "Gods and Goddesses: Spirits From Beyond, by Shueisha Narita. Well, with these I should be able to find something out..." he said, sitting down as he opened the first book.

He got up after hours of reading. He placed the books back where he recieved them and walked out, pondering the information he has now learned. He walks outside and into the front lobby.

*As he closes volume five, he sighs. His eyes ache... perhaps the light is too dim, or maybe he's just been reading too long... but either way, he knows he needs to take a break.
In the past three hours or so, Dorn had buzzed through the first 4000 pages or so... he could read extremely quickly, now. He needed only to glance at a page to copy it in it's entirety to his brain... and at any time, he could call up a mental image of the book and flip to the page and read it again. In a very real way, he was absorbing the entire books.
But that alone wouldn't have taken him more than 45 minutes or so, for all of these books. The real trick was comprehension... he had to take the time to think about it. Dorn never could have imagined that reading could be tiring, but now he knew...*
And this stack is just the first nine volumes... all I could carry. >.< There's still another nineteen to read after that...
*With his eyes half closed, Dorn gets up and walks out of the Archives.*

Vincent walk into the archives and flips the light switch. The light turns on and then flickers out. "Damn." Vincent reaches into his bag and pulls out a flash light and a lightbulb. Turning on the flash light he gos to the light and unscrews the bulb. It was hot causing Vincent to drop it in surprise. "Damn!" Screwing in the bulb and flipping the light on. Vincent puts away the flashlight and pulls a broom out of his bag and sweeps up the shards of glass. "I will get you..." Vincent drops the broom. "Damnit, why is he here?" Vincent closes his eyes and a warp hole opens. Vincent steps through the portal and disapears.
