I recently saw a bunch of previews for the ps2 game, it looked so awesome >< They have created an original character for the game who is also a HiME. Leah said her name is Sakuya. First I thought it was how they drew Shiho(Pink hair, ribbons) but her element was a scythe...so I thought she was Fumi but then they showed her child and it was a mutated two-tailed bunny thing o_o;;
Has anyone played this game yet?

No O_o what sort of randomness is this?!
I know they came out with a bunch of HiME video games, but none of them came to north america. (I witnessed screenshots of the dating sim one... it pissed me off. Natsuki looked very scared/helpless in a graveyard and was clinging to the main guy's arm... Very upsetting!)

Barentine No O_o what sort of randomness is this?! I know they came out with a bunch of HiME video games, but none of them came to north america. (I witnessed screenshots of the dating sim one... it pissed me off. Natsuki looked very scared/helpless in a graveyard and was clinging to the main guy's arm... Very upsetting!) I want the fighting game for PSP, I heard it sucked tho ):

I read about the PS2 game long ago, back when MaiHiME was first out. The art style looked pretty cool. They'd change the looks of the childs a bit, I liked the changes.
Howver I never found much about it other than those few pics and that it's a PS2 game. If anyone finds any info on it, and whther its planned to be released in US post here.
Tho I doubt they'd bring the game over until MaiHiMe comes to US. I'm surprised it hasnt yet (by that I mean to TV like Cartoon Network, not DvD or import).

I'm a pretty big gamer... so using my sources I was able to dig this up. For the PSP there's: Mai-HiME Bakuretsu! Fuuka Gakuen Gekitoushi?!and Mai-HiME Senretsu! Shin Fuuka Gakuen Gekitoushi!!For the PS2 Mai-Kinoto HiMEand Mai-HiME: The Another also known as Unmei no Keitouju. ('Marvelous') (Apparently this game is pretty cool, lots of unlockable story modes, neat art and cool endings.) The summary reads: "...Fans should expect an adventure game set in the Kazehana Gakuen, which is protected by the "Hime" girls of the title. The "Another" of the title points to the fact that the game will provide a different look at the Mai-Hime world than that of the cartoon. Character designs are different for the game version. At lot of these games were released this year, (but the PC one is coming out in november?) so though none of them have been released to North America... they might be, one day. All the descriptions read "Action", but some of these CG's suggest a date-sim... maybe? Who knows. Wikipedia says:A video game for the PlayStation 2 developed by Marvelous Interactive called Mai-HiME - Unmei no Keitouju, or My-HiME - The Another, was released in Japan on June 30, 2005. The main character in the game is a male named Takemura who has come to Fuuka Academy to study the HiME. There are multiple storylines - one each for Mai, Mikoto, Natsuki, and Miyu. Two PSP games, Mai-HiME Senretsu! Shin Fuuka Gakuen Gekitoushi!! and Mai-HiME Bakuretsu! Fuuka Gakuen Gekitoushi?!, both developed by Sunrise Interactive, were also released.

XD but I've noticed that no matter how bad the game blows, the suck level doesn't even matter when you're a fan. Blasphemy? Yeah, tell me about it. Whatever, anyway, They look a lot alike... so i'm praying and crossing my fingers that "Mutsumi" is the one clinging to male-characters arm (who's name is "Kyoji Takamura") and crying... but since the url title says "chara_natsuki_event03" I've lost hope.

I checked the whole gallery picture by picture, and I was very disappointed. UGH how I hated them! Very cute and cool pictures, yes, but they don't look like the original characters at all. Same color of eyes and a little same kind of hair, that's all. I know it would be more like impossible to make them look like the characters in anime, but still. In my opinion they're way too different, like some kind of twisted HiME chibis. Childs were also absolutely horrible. And the worst thing - why did they put glasses for Miyu?! gonk

Am I the only one who thinks this game is cool? gonk Asura Hime is such an awesome song, and the art is really pretty...
That person clinging to Main Character's arm can't be Natsuki...she has short bangs o.o Natsuki is into girls anyway

Amtie- I thought the childs and everything looked awesome. Very different but not bad.
Ryuurin - I think I agree with you, that's not Natsuki... it's probably a mislabel... she doesn't even resemble Natsuki.

So they gave Natsuki short bangs in this game? o_o
I was reading some of the manga, Natsuki seems more girlish than badass, and her love interest is Tate...the main character seems like a Tate replacement...maybe this corresponds more to the manga than the anime? Then again, Shizuru is a HiME in this game gonk
You never know, maybe the guy is Natsuki's...brother/cousin or something? ninja

There's no doubt, arm clinger IS Natsuki! I took a look at the site, and found that Mutsumi's eyes are deep blue and are smaller than Natsuki's green eyes. She also looks older and more badass than game Natsuki.

She also looks older and more badass than game Natsuki. crying Argh, I knew it! stressed I seriously doubt that the main character would be her cousin or brother, because he came to the school to "study" the HiME. Also, the blushing, vulnerable expressions cause me to get date rape sim vibes. I think he is some kind of Tate replacement, since in one of the pictures on the site we see him with the sword Tate was weilding at the end of the HiME series. And speaking of the manga, I really hated it. It had some good points but... talk2hand

There's also a person who looks too much like Midori...
gonk The manga of a series is usually better, but not for Mai-HiME. (Although that one scene where 'innocent' Mikoto points out that Akira doesn't wear a bra... rofl )
