Mugen was padding along, somewhat in small circles, contemplating on how to approach Eira, tell her something he had been wanting to tell her for a while. But he was afraid afraid she might laugh, call him crazy for telling ehr such a thing, and tell him to fly away and leave her alone. He shuddered at the thought. Without Eira, Mugen didn't have anything...as far as he was concerned.
He wanted to tell her of the few he had met, on his own, new friends, and he had something else to say too. He wished he could ust muster up teh strength and say it, but he was still a scared pup on the inside.
How to do it?
"Eira...I need to tell you something...no, too forward....Eira, can I tell you something? No, too question-y....ugh..." he was speaking to himself and flopped on the ground. He rested his head on his paws and stared out, wondering how far she would be from here. Mugen wanted to be with Eira always.

“Mmm?”
*The slender female slowly cocked her head to the side as she padded over to her male friend. He was saying her name… so it was only natural she come. She smiled at him slowly before looking away.*
“What’s wrong with you? Where have you been! I have been looking for you for a while now- are you hurt?”
*He seemed well, but it never did her any harm to ask. She always feared him leaving her for others; that’s why she asked him so many questions. Eira was never one to trust and she had good reason not to.*

Mugen was deep in thought when Eira came up by him. He didn't notice at first but when she began talking he literally jumped at ehr voice and whirled around. She seemed angry at him for being away, he had been looking for her though!
"I'm sorry Eira..." he crouched down low to the ground, tail low, eras back, an apologetic stance, "I was looking for you....I made some friends..." He shook his head at her statement if he was hurt. He was just fine, just trying to figure out how to tell her something.
"Are you okay? I was worried...I couldn't find which way you went..." he was afraid that she found someplace to stay, perhaps another friend...a male. He got angry in his head at the thought, he would rip any male apart if they got close to Eira.

“I was with a friend.”
*Eira stated with a now. It was true, she had made friends with a lovely female dog; she was golden and sweet… though Eira would tell him this information… if he wanted to think it was a male that she had been with, then she was going to sit back and see how he would react. He was odd like that… he never said that he liked being around her, but he acted so affectionate to her; it puzzled her.*
‘What about you… I can smell the sent of a female on you? You find a mate yet?”

"A f-friend?" Mugen asked looking up with her, eyes bigger, "What kind of friend?" his heart sank, had she been with a male? Mugen was never good with telling the female and male scent upon another if they had been around someone other then himself. But there was definitely another scent on Eira, whether Mugen wanted to acknowledge it or not.
"Female? No no no!" Mugen said shaking his head, "I was looking for you, and came across her, she's just a friend Eira, nothing more...not like..." he stopped, he was going to say 'you and me.' Mugen never wanted to have anyone as a mate except Eira, but he was afraid to tell her, he whimpered softly and let his head rest on his paws.
He would tell her...unless, her friend, was a male...and more then a friend. Mugen wanted Eira happy, even if it meant letting another be with her. But deep down he knew he cared for her so much, but her happiness came before his.

“Heh, I see.”
*She didn’t let his actions harm her. He was free to have all the friends in the world. Eira had hers after all, it was only fair.*
“Yes, I found her in another pack… she is very kind but is sick… I am going to help her become well again.”
*As she spoke the female sat herself down in front of him and smiled dully. Her neon color eyes softly narrowed as she gazed upon his form. The wings upon his back made her smile as the though about the winged lioness she had run into.*

"Help her get well?" Mugen asked tilting his head, "does that mean...you're leaving?" Mugen didn't want her to leave, but then again, she was helping someone, and he wasn't her keeper, though he wanted to be...sort of, in differnet words perhaps.
"What pack is she from? How far away?" perhaps he should tell her now, see if it would change anything, but what if he didn't? What if she laughed at him? He'd be crushed, he was confused on what to do, how was he supposed to handle things like this when he was still best friends with Eira?

"I'm not leaving, I am just going to visit her to make sure she is well... you know that I would never join a silly pack."
*As he spoke she felt herself frown. He seemed very worked up over this... what was wrong with him? With a soft smile she looked over at him and spoke.*
"I saw something beautiful the other night...”

Mugen mused to himself, thinking that 'he saw something beautiful everyday' when he was around her, but she wouldn't like that mushy stuff, would she? But Mugen smiled, glad she wasn't going to run off to join a pack, "What did you see Eira?" Perhaps after she told him, he would be able to tell her, it was welling up inside him. He wished to just set it free, but he worried, he always worried when it came to try and tell Eira something important.

“I saw wings…”
*Eira’s null eyes softened as she gazed at her friend with a soft smile. Her ears pinned backwards slowly and with out any other movement she added.*
“I saw a lioness with wings! She was a Goddess Mugen! She could fly..”
*As if this was still all o much for her to understand the female simply sat still and thought to herself. After so long Eira had finally seen what Mugen wanted… He wanted to fly; and if this goddess could… then why couldn’t he?*
“It was… So unreal Mugen..”

Mugen thought to himself, was this a test? Was she trying to get to talk about flying so he'd get in trouble again? The talk of this lioness, a goddess? Oh wow. Perhaps Eira was telling teh truth, no, she had to be. Mugen knew Eira didn't lie to him...often.
"I wish I could've seen her, I would've liked that," Mugen said folding his ears back, truly he was a bit jealous, but he tried to shake it off. He wanted to tell her! Damn it why was it so hard?!
"Eira?" he spoke quietly, looking at her with his violet gaze, "Can I tell you something...please? And have you not...get mad?" He never wanted her mad with him, but he wondered if shehad found someone else that she wasn't telling him about. He at least had to try.

“I wish you could have been there…”
*Eira stated softly. She was being nice today… this was odd… something had come over her and she felt relaxed and carefree. With a slight nod she gave him the floor to speak and sat back.*
“What is it?”
*She questioned softly, eyeing him down. He seemed too startled… had she done something wrong? Looking away slowly she sighed and thought about it for a moment. Maybe he was going to tell her he didn’t need her anymore… maybe he had found a pack to join? Eira awaited his reply with a low hung head and sat still.*

He wished he could;ve been there too, the time he wasn't with her he felt lost, not knowing what to do of who to trust. Eira took care of him, but he wanted to take care of her too. He watched her sit back and allow him to speak, but she seemed sad. Why was she sad?!
"Nono Eira it's nothing bad please don't be sad!" he said crouching down a bit, ears falling abck," I just I wanted to tell you..." his tail curled around him, he was so nervous, getting so hot here now. Why was that? "that I...I want to say with you....and that, I like you..." he blushed a bit and kept going, "I mean, more then friends but I was nervous...please don't be sad...please...Eira...I love you...please don't be sad..." he lay on the ground and put his paws over his face. He made her sad before he even said anything. What if she hated him now?

“Mugen…”
*As he spoke Eira felt so happy and sad. The way he said it hurt her… though she was so happy to hear him speak such words… he seemed unsure of himself. Eira didn’t like when eh belittled himself like he did. With a soft sigh the female dog looked away from him and softly spoke.*
“…You say you love me… yet you fear telling me… you fear me being upset with you…?”
*Her eyes softly moved to narrow as she gazed over at him slowly.*
“It hurts… I can not say I love you back when you act so small… I want to be able to say it, I want to be able to feel it, but… you fear me…”
*As she went on her head hung low.*
“I fear… it."

Mugen's ears pressed against his skull, he felt his heart sink, an aching pain in his stomach and head, his eyes grew sadder as she spoke. She was mad at him, upset with him. Great, just great. He wanted to crawl in a hole and die. The only one he cared about, the one he loved was upset, called him small.
He whimpered and buried his head in his paws, trying to resist the urge to cry. "I was afraid you found someone else!" he burst out from his muzzle that was half hidden by his paws, "I thought that was the reason I couldn't find you, I was afraid if I told you, that...you wouldn't feel the same way...or would tell me you found someone else, I was afraid that I'm not good enough to be with you..."
A few stray tears fell from his eyes but he hid them, he didn't want her to see him crying, his tail curled around him tighter. She wouldn't say it back, "I'm not afraid of YOU Eira....I'm afraid of losing you, I thought that...that I'd scare you off..." he was shaking a bit, and crying. He was acting strange, he felt like his throat was closing up, that he was going to choke if he spoke again.
She said she wouldn't say it, he felt strange, everything was beginning to look different in the shadows his paws created over his eyes. He was not here, somewhere else. Eira was on a cloud, he was flying around her, then he couldn't fly anymore. His wings, the feathers were falling out, his wings were ripped from his body, and he was falling...into nothingness.
