I pulled third in Epee yesterday ^.^ but I didn't do so well in Sabre *shrug* figures. xd Though, now one of my college goals is complete, I can x off "get a medal for a collegate fencing event."

Quite impressive! How long have you been doing epee?
On the subject of tournaments and such, I was at a sabre tournament last week and a guy from my club kept doing these epeeish pasata sottos. I can't remember where he placed... it was the weirdest thing. rolleyes I think epee is bad for one's soul, at least for the soul of a sabrist anyway.

I have been doing epee seriouslyish for 2ish years. I find that epee does some wonderful things for Saber though.
I mean.. I did place top eight in sabre last weekend as well... it just wasn't where I felt I should have been. Ah well, there are more tournaments to come. ^.^

Every time I fence an epeeist at sabre they sre sooo easy to predict: feintish ting, retreat, and attempt a stop hit. But anyway, nice job.

See... the problem is that you are fencing Epeeists who fence Sabre. You should fence a Sabeurist who fences epee.

Zealth See... the problem is that you are fencing Epeeists who fence Sabre. You should fence a Sabeurist who fences epee. Hmm, that sounds a tad oxymoronical to me... I mean, epeeist-sabrist??? I do not understand! rolleyes There's no one like that around here in the PNW section. They're all either solid foilists or epeeists, with a sabrist appearing seldom.

My club is 100% sabre, which I find the most enjoyable, I really hope to start entering tournaments. It's a life dream.
