
It was a fall day, the air crisp and the colorful leaves blowing off the trees and onto the grass. Fluff stood outside, smiling at the sight of the path before her. A scarf was wrapped around her neck and she shivered lightly. Still, it was a gorgeous day and she was going for a walk.
Starting down the path, she whistled a tune to herself. There wasn't a sound out except for her and the crunching of leaves under her feet. That's why when she heard the rustling in the bushes, it caught her attention. She stopped whistling and turned, her eyes peering into the bushes. She couldn't see into it, but there was definitely something in there.
The bushes rustled again, and Fluff took a step back. She was unsure what it could be, and being so close to Halloween, she wouldn't be surprised if it was a couple of neighborhood kids trying to scare anyone that walked by.
Then something hopped out of the bushes.
Fluff let out an, "Eep!" before catching whatever it was and stumbling back. She landed on the ground, the thing in her hands landing on her chest. She looked down, spotting the strangest looking creature in her hands. It looked like a bunny, but the colors were too odd. Pink and gray were not standard for rabbits. Besides, this little creature also had a pair of small wings adorning her back. That was a giant clue in.
The creature clung to her, shivering. Fluff didn't know if it was because it was cold or frightened. Fluff unwrapped her scarf and covered the little creature.
Standing up carefully, she took the bunneh home to take care of it. And she named her Bahar...
