Mozart, I must say, is awesome. The way he writes may sound crazy to some, but if you sit back and listen, it's actually very entertaining.

I LOVE MOZART! You know, some scientists are beginning to think he had Asperger's Syndrome and was a savant in music?

Hm, Asperger's Syndrome...I know in the movie "Amadeus", Mozart was potrayed as kind of "out there". Does this relate to that in a way?

Asperger's Syndrome is a social disorder where the social part of the brain does not develp very well. However, most people with Asperger's are borderline genius to genius, and many are savants because it is on the autism spectrum. I have Asperger's, but I am not a savant because I am skilled in too many areas. (I am great at math, science, creative writing, technical writing, music... I learned how to play Ode to Joy in a day after only playing the piano for two weeks for an hour and a half a day for ten days.)

Vivaldi is something else too. I don't listen to a lot of his stuff, but what I've heard is amazing.
We'll have to open another topic about the Asperger's Syndrome razz

Well, since I have it, I would be an expert on it. I really think Mozart was a savant in music because his music is the ONLY music that actually increases the brain's ability to memorize and comprehend things and help with studying, as I have heard mant scientific studies show.

Nozomi Higarashi Well, since I have it, I would be an expert on it. I really think Mozart was a savant in music because his music is the ONLY music that actually increases the brain's ability to memorize and comprehend things and help with studying, as I have heard mant scientific studies show. I agree that Mozarts compositions do help in studiing and really does effect yur brain in a good way! I mean I've experienced it! I listen to some several Mozart compositions whenever I need to encrease my level in actally anthing, it's amazing and it's true!

My favorite composers are Vivaldi, J.S. Bach, and Mozart (in order of preference). But I'll really listen to any Baroque or Classical composer.

I find it sad that not everyone respects classical music anymore. Some people think that it's just old stuff that their parents listen to and all that sounds good is the modern music.
Thank goodness some people still respect classical music.
