You kids are allowed to take candy from strangers, but just this once!

Anyone doing anything funky tonight? Me, I'll be at work until 6, then I'ma hunker down with Final Fantasy XII (if I can find a copy, that is...).

I'll be going around with my 4 year old brother trick-or-treating. I'm currently wearing most of my costume, all black clothes. I have a balaclava/scarf thing and some black gloves that I'll put on to look like a ninja. I may carry my nunchuks around too. As for my little brother, he'll be going in a cat costume we got from eBay.

We never have bonfires on Halloween here. Simply because we have Guy Fawkes night on the 5th of November, where we have all of our fireworks and bonfires.

My bf and I are staying home and giving candy to the little tykes this year. We picked up lots of good candy because we agreed that it sucked when you got crappy candy on Halloween and we wanted to be the "cool" candy givers, heh.

well most people don't normally have bonfires on halloween here either, but we wanted to do something.. and they had brush to burn, so we had one..

it rained tonight, so we all got soaked while out with the little one's getting candy and things..

I could not even get into this guild last night, there were so many people on.

I had a quiet Halloween, had a headache. I am on the 3rd floor so no trick or treaters. It was a quiet night and pleasant but for the headache.

last night i kept getting logged out of the site itself, cause of all the people on this site..

i even tried doing the event thing, but that was just confussing me somet hing awful.. if something is that hard and difficult to do i'd rather not have the items that probably isn't very exciting anyway.. they had to stop it to finish it today anyway, i was like geez..

Only six or so groups of trick or treaters came to the door last night ;_; Kinda made me sad, I wanted to give them candy. Can't blame them, as the neighborhood I'm in isn't exactly the best. There was one cute little boy who came to the door in an Incredibles costume, it was so cute.

That's odd I had no problems getting here yesterday!

As for me, I didn't even know that there had been Halloween! .. I should of guessed from a person I typically never talk to telling me "Happy Halloween".. It felt good to be considered crying

No trick or treaters either, not sure if people celebrate it at all.. but then again I live in much of a concrete fortress with no way to come behind the door without having a magnetic key. Doubt anyone would try lol

magnetic key? O_o

The mall was packed with kids...according to my boss we had given out somewhere around 800-1000 lollipops. Most people around here will just take the kids to the mall and that's it...it was really cold out last night. That, and parents prefer the safety of a mall over an unlit, barely supervised, street these days. But even still, our house wasn't lit very well so ppl thought either no one was home or we didn't want to be bothered...well, I know *I* didn't want to be bothered by kids anymore after spending all of the day being overrun!

Also, my cheeks hurt from smiling so much...usually at work I get a chance to stop smiling and even sit down, but not yesterday. Also, my arms hurt from hauling and handing out candy...

I dressed up in my usual costume - LotR's Strider, sans beard and sword - and waited for trick-or-treaters. Not. A. Single. One. Then I had to change into good clothes and go to the hospital to prepare for clinical the next morning (at 6:45 am, to boot). *sigh* Some Halloween...I had to go to bed early and everything.
