Does any one have any characters that are cripples or become crippled or damaged in anyway. Most of my character get some serious problem, but so far only Reagaul starts crippled: His right leg doesn't work very well and keeps hurting cronicly.

Hmm, can't say that I have. The idea never really came to mind, but I think I could definately use this theme.
Actually, for my high shool aplication writing sample, I was going to write a short story (if it's allowed to use writing done at home). This actually gives me a bit of an idea. *thinking*

Yes, actually. One of the characters for my NaNo story had his leg blown off by a land mine. 3nodding So he's got a prosthetic limb now. And he has to stay at home and deal with the angry ghostlet who tries to trip him up and make him fall down the stairs. ^-^

Fake limb. In futuristic/fantasy stories it would maybe be able to function as a normal human limb, but the one I'm talking about is just a piece of plastic molded into the shape of a foot.

So...anyone else? I'm thinking of doing something to Seamus with his left arm. It is going to be pretty bad because he's left handed.

Well in the fantasy book I am working on I was thinking about having 'black' magic take a form of personal sacrifice. Arthritis, limbs withering, accelerated aging, and things like that. The magic eats away at you.
In truth I was thinking about doing this with all forms of magic, but I could not come up with a safe way of having people learning it.

Sounds interesting.
This really isn't magic, but one of my character has a condition that causes lightning to expell from his body when too much blood is pumping (or adreneline is pumping) to his appendix. You might or might not consider that a cripple, but just imagine what would happen when he tries to kiss someone.

One large electrical storm? What character is that, by the way?
I'm thinking of having Amelia's mom injured in OS... But I'm not sure what to do. At the end of the book, the city is being bombed, and Amelia is escaping with Aldel and the doctor, but she can't find her mom. It ends there, so I'm thinking of making a sequal where she meets her mom again and everything... But that's way off from now, if ever (I hope it is "ever", though; I have some cool ideas smile )

I thought it was obvious who...oh well. Maybe you'll know if I ever get on with my stories.

Well, isn't it obvious yet that I'm not the quickest person you've ever met (or, technically, talked to)? Heheh.

Ah, now I remember. I hadn't read it for awhile, and I s'pose I just forgot. Well, that makes me feel better about my stupidity a little...
Anyways...

Eh. A few of my characters have genetic problems, such as one is color blind, another can't hear, ect. But that's about it. I guess I could use something like that. XD
