Zim is always prevented in some way from taking over the earth. This in my mind is very wrong and they should have new episodes. Zim must return and finally fulfill his quest of world domination. Wether it is Dib, a moose, a pig, a bumble bee, a man with a squid brain, or even Gir this is not necessary and Zim will conquer all.

Its like the wiley coyote and the road runner...once the wiley coyote catches the road runner...what is left? nothing. If zim completes his mission then there will be no point in continuing the series..which is what we want right?..RIGHT? eek

Well, ZIM being prevented from taking over the world by the antagonist creates conflict and conflict = good. If ZIM conqures world then there'll be no more show.
Also, not only is IZ never coming back from it's grave (at this point) but if you want to read about ZIM and his coolie-o world conquest there's fan-fiction. :3

But other than that i think that is Nickeloden's fault because they had to edit the crap out of it if you get what im saying.

It certainly would have been an interesting twist. And they could have continued on that. They could have Dib trying to get the Earth back. If only the series had lived a little longer, than we would of gotten to see Invader Dib, and the plot would have moved on to the Irk VS the universe arch. That would have been fun.

He's not the sharpest tool in the shed. Don't get me wrong with this. Zim rocks and he's very funny, I just think that considering his past work, he's not really leader material.

And in TAK: the hideous new girl, he destroys the irken military planet devastis or w/e its called. So the point is hes too stupid. End of story.

Actually, he wasn't supposed to be destroying other planets, but "guarding" a certain spot. But his desire for destruction took over. :]
