Possibly. If thanksgiving was used as it was supposed to be instead of just a buffer time before Christmas, it should be a time for us to take a break during the year and remind ourselves of what we're thankful for. Then again, we should already try to do that from time to time.
or we can remember that our ancestors came to this land, killed all the natives, raped their land and women respectivley, and then died to the lack of supplies and harsh weather. there should be a new slogan for thanksgiving. christmas has Merry Christmas. halloween has Happy Halloween. thanksgiving should have And the Strong Shall Devour the Meek's Reward!
