Okay, I didn't watch all of the last season, because I knew they killed off Bakura. I watched the last episode up till Atmeu says his name to the wall. Then I shut it off. I didn't want to see Atemu leave, and make Yuugi cry more.
But what happend? There was still a good 5-8 minutes for something to happen. Did he just leave, or was there more?

There was definitely more. Er... spoiler warning.
Jou, Anzu, and Honda ran up to ask if he reallly had to go. They said they were just getting to know him, and then he has to leave! They start getting teary eyed and crying, and Jou and Yuugi accept that Atemu has to leave, and convince the others that it has to happen. Atemu smiles sadly, then walks into the light, giving a thumbs up, and in the light it shows the Ancient Egyptian characters (except Thiefy of course) waiting for him. Then after the doors close, the cave starts caving in and they all rush outside. The Items fall down a hole. Outside, they all talk and say goodbye and go their seperate ways. In the credits it shows everyone and where they are and stuff.
If that didn't answer your question, I'm sorry. sweatdrop

Bunny Jones I know~. I know that I have people who really care about me. wink

Even if Bakura was evil, and a murderer, he kept Ryou from being alone. Think about it. Ryou could die, and nobody would realize, or even care, for at least a week.
Bakura was there to keep him sane. Remember when Ryou tossed the Mellenium Ring back into the ocean? It came back, and I think a tinny bit, is because Ryou wanted it back.
And Bakura cares about Ryou. Even if he doesn't realize. When Ryou was about to get smoked by Slifer, Bakura put himself in the path instead. Some say there are other reasons for it, but Ryou wouldn't have been killed. Maybe unconssious for a few weeks sweatdrop But he protected him.
I think that's one of the main reasons I was so upset when he was gone. crying
((you might all disagree, but it's my oppinion))

Well, he could've died from the shock of it. He was losing a lot of blood, and I think seeing a giant dragon blasting you when you didn't even know where you were would freak anyone out. And if Bakura lost Ryou, he wouldn't have a convenient way of getting around. I'm not saying that Bakura didn't like Ryou. Maybe deep down he did feel something for him.
I think Yuugi would've noticed if Ryou had died. But yes, nobody would notice otherwise, which is really sad.
I was upset when Bakura was gone because he made such an awesome character. I missed Thiefy more, though. He seemed more Ryou-like than Bakura did. You know, if Ryou ever suddenly went psychotic. sweatdrop
I'm a little like Ryou, at least I thought I was. Apparently I'm more like Yuugi and Anzu, though. sweatdrop
