johnny depp is fantastic in all of his roles in burton movies. he plays the part so well.

Johnny Depp is probably one of the most talented and versatile actors in history. It astounds me how every role he plays is so different from the last, he has such a great gift.
Depp-Burton collaborations are my favourite too! I really can't wait for Sweeney Todd-- I'm also a Helena Bonham Carter fan, so everything's working out! xD

I love how the characters he plays are never just normal characters, they are ALWAYS strange in some way, even if they seem normal on the outside.
One of my favourite characters he plays (other than Captain Jack Sparrow of course (omg, so sexy)) is from Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas. He's just all over the place, ******** up on drugs throughout the whole thing. Quite an amazing performance. It's not my favourite movie with him though, at all, just an amazing character. If you haven't seen it, please do (yes I know this has nothing to do with Tim Burton)
