Matsumoto is myopic. Although he wears contact lenses for his work, he is frequently seen with spectacles. He was the first Japanese male celebrity to make it onto the cover of the Japanese May 2006 issue of Marie Claire magazine. He used to have buckteeth when he was younger. Although the members of ARASHI enjoy more or less equal popularity, a large portion of the fans were attracted to ARASHI by watching Matsumoto's dramas; a common syndrome that has been nicknamed the 'Jun-bait' by fans. MatsuJun co-hosts Utawara HotHit10 with Aya Matsuura and Wada Akiko. As of June 2006, he became part of an unofficial group within Johnny's Entertainment called "No Border", which includes members like Yamashita Tomohisa of NewS, and Takizawa Hideaki of Tackey & Tsubasa. The purpose of No Border is for its members to interact freely and bypass the sempai-kouhai relationships formed by JE.

I can't believe out of all these threads here we don't have on on the King, MatsuJun. This guy paved the way -sorta in a small way- for most of the Juniors today and maybe future ones. We can at least give him his own thread.

WOO! We finally have a MatsuJun thread! MatsuJun has done so much especially as far as JE acting is concerned. He was hilarious in Pika*nchi! A very talented actor and great band member. I absolutely love him and the others of Arashi! heart

I got some news, well sorta like a reminder, for you guys. In just a little over a month Hana Yori Dango 2 will air. Kinda cruel. That would be the perfect time to go to Japan. I'll have to wait for someone to sub it and post it on youtube. Thats going to take forever. crying 15 episodes of Matsjun, Shunji-kun, and Matsuda. Oh yeah lets not forget Abe. What to do? I just hope that they tweek their fashion style a bit. I mean, Rui always wore them white long tick-tacish @$$ shoes. And lets not forget Domyouji with his all famous Rat Wraps. Just so much to think about. Well again 15 eipsodes. I wonder if it will start out with the Wedding ceramony? Okay, sorry for ranting right there.

OMG. There is a new character in HYD2. I don't know what he role is but he's fairly handsome. I wonder how he will be involved in the whole drama. Anywhoo, the actor who plays him is Ikuta Toma. Yesh Yesh, the JE boy. Lovely.
There is also a new girl in the drama. Again don't know what her role is either. The actress who plays her is Kato Natsuki, fro mBattle Royal 2.
I will keep this thread update regularly since the drama is so close to airing, and we all love HYD.

It's good. Well since two of the leads, well supporting actors, from Gokusen are two of the leads, well supporting actors again, in HYD I had no choice but to love it. Sike. The story line is good. I hope you get to watch it before the second season comes out.

Correction. Hana Yori Dango will air on January 5th, 2007 at 9:00pm. The characters have changed, appearnace wise. Domyouji no longer has the S-Curl type hair style. It's more of a Press-N-Curl type style. Rui hair his kinda honey-blondish and a little longer. -slaps self- I must not spoil the show.
To those of you who haven't watched HYD season 1 yet, you should.
