Hi everybody! Now that we are getting some members, let's introduce ourselves!
I am PrettyPrettyPeppermint, but you can call me Peppermint or PPP or even Captain ( blaugh ). I have played flute for six years and piccolo for five. I am now the third chair in my school's top class (AA) band, which is really good for a sophomore. I can play "Flight of the Bumblebee" even faster than written on piccolo and "Syrinx" is my favorite song to play on flute.

Hey fellow flute players!
You may call me Amanda if you like! I've played flute for about three years and I love it! I'm also learning the piccolo which is also quite fun...well I'd love to help anyone that I can and I'd also appreaciate any helpful advice! 3nodding

Syrinx....It is very slow and pretty but also modern, If I can find a recording I'll post it, I love the song. I found you in the "How many people here can really call themselves musicians?" forum, lol. Edit: Found it Here

Yeah, I kinda figured that's where you found me. Right after I posted there, I got an invite to this guild. I was surprised, but happy none the less.
Syrinx is really nice. I've never played something like that before.

hiya! I'm gezzyvee but I like to be called gez or gezzy. I've played flute for (a lot of years!) 7 years and I don't really like the piccolo but I play it sometimes anyway... heh.
I've been first chair in my high school since freshman year (currently a junior) but I don't like competitions that much. I've been to a few and last year I got best in my age group for this one comp. I went to...
What's my favorite piece... I have a lot of them. Right now I really like Andante by Molique, but no one's ever heard of it. (It hasn't ever even been recorded, which was a pain when I was trying to learn it. lol)
o_O all that stuff makes me sound really vain, doesn't it? sweatdrop

Hi I'm Chibi, I've been playing flute about 8 years now and picc for 5. I think my fav flute to play of all time is the double contra bass or the bass flute, they're just so pretty! (and Big ^^ wink
I'm first chair and section leader of my school's wind ensemble, and play with a community college band on the side. Favorite piece of mine to play? Well, I don't really have one, there's a lot of my favorites though, a bit to many to name...but for a few there's Hydan's London Trio, Santa's Symphony, and anything by Nobu Uematsu.
