Anyone besides me play?
Level 10 shield dwarf ranger (Name: Lithna Doomhammer) currently partying with three elves (rogue - Lya, ranger - Fwen, and wizard - Greyfar), two humans (paladin/knight of the triad - Lancenore and cleric - Surley), and a half drow (monk/fighter alias teh UB3R PWNAG3 - Rev).
If anyone is interested, I could tell some tales, such as the wang and boob checks, the curse of the naked half drow, and (my personal favorite) the Retarded Elven Ranger.
And, assuming I could work it all out, would anyone be interested in doing an inguild D&D game? I can DM and teach people to play, and with Gaia's dice roll actions, it's entirely doable (in theory).

I used to play way back when, it's been a few years. I'd definitely be interested in starting a Guild thing though, that's a fantastic idea ^_^

I don't know how to play, nor do I think I can learn over the internet. sweatdrop I might go for it though, but I'm not promising anything.

kitsune shojo I don't know how to play, nor do I think I can learn over the internet. sweatdrop I might go for it though, but I'm not promising anything. Well, there's only so much I can teach without actually being there beside you. However, there are alot of resources out there on the internet that can help, and maybe someone you know *AHEM* can maybe point you towards a Player's Guide. I also found a character generator, so no one would have to actually roll dice. And then I found Excel based character sheets, which would take out some math. And then some die rolling generators and name generators. If I ever DM, I'm set.

So that quiz you had me take suggested I be a ranger. Ranger that. I'll be rangering my ranger with a ranger of rangers. Ranger and out. (1,000 gold to the first person that gets the reference)

._.
So, last night, the DM declared that we were just gonna work on ou characters; pimp them out with a nice chunk of gold we got from a bodyguard side job.
And then he's like..."Let's draw from the deck of many things."
The deck of many things is kind of like fortune telling. You draw a card and there's a 50% chance something good will happen and a 50% chance something bad will happen. Ex. One card will give you a powerful magic weapon, and another will cause your soul to be imprisioned in the center of the earth.
The rule is simple: you have to declare how many cards you will draw, and you can't stop drawing cards until to reach that number (or die or get your soul imprisioned somewhere).
Two other players immediately agree to play along. My boyfriend immediately backs out, and tries to speak for me as well. After the Dm and Tard Elf got on his case about letting me play how I want to play, I decided I would draw as well.
Tard elf got a small keep, all his magic items disappeared, and he got 50k exp.
Lya (rogue) got all her property and money taken away, a big chunk of change, and something else (not exp).
The DM's character got 50k exp, had to fight a dread wraith, lost 1 point from all his saves (twice), and then got a medium wondrous item.
Then I drew and a level 4 fighter suddenly appeared beside me. Yay, I got the services of a level 4 fighter. Well, actually, I sold him for almost 30k gold.
>_>
<_<
And then the DM let my boyfriend draw anyway (with the promise that if something bad happened, he's just have to kill a wraith), and he got 50k exp and a medium wondrous item.
So now 3 out of 5 party members are level 14, and the elf rogue and I are level 10.
._.
Luckily, my DM believes in homework for exp. So I can write a character related story for 250 exp per page, or draw a picture of one of the party characters for 10 pages worth of exp, or a picture of the whole party for 5 pages worth.
So now, the strength of our enemies is gonna go way up, and I'll have to hang at the back, using my bow, instead of my +2 holy axes.
;_;
Luck of the draw, I suppose.

Now the tard elf has some company: +2 morale >_>
Let me know if you ever fight a 150 foot talking wizard dragon. It had statues made of enamel in its castle. Care to guess how it got enough enamel through the centuries? >_>; So many people burned to a crisp... Good thing we talked our way to getting the gem of chaos, or Al J'Zen would still be in disorder to this day!

I don't know about a wizard dragon....
But we fought a black dragon last night (Challenge rating 19).
And won.
With no casulties.
W00tag3.
I'm up to level 12 now (halfway caught up!), and I have a shiny new python rod, that turns into a big big snake when I summon it up. I have decided to call it Monty the Python.
And we fought these trolls in a swamp.
Our rogue decided that I, with my double holy axes, would make for a fantastic projectile weapon. So she lobs me at a troll about...15 feet away.
I make it about half that. I make my dexterity check and land on my feet...
On a hidden troll's back.
He immedately throws me off hs back and into the swamp muck. This muck is about waist deep on the tallest guy in our party. It's about...chin high on me.
So, after I kill the offending troll, I duck under the swamp muck, stick the top half of one of my axes above the surface and "walk" towards one of the other trolls going "dunna-dunna.....dunna-dunna".
This poor troll had an axe swimming towards him and a burning tree behind him (misplaced scorching ray).
The poor thing had to make a fear check.
And now we'll have to stop in town for another night so I can get all the muck out of my hair and clothes.
And the dragon put slashes in my mithral shirt. ;_; Big slashes right across the dwarven D-cups.
... I'm actually debating over whether to get it fixed or not. >_>
