A challenge that requires playing any Castlevania game will be posted here. After each challenge is completed, anyone is welcome to post a new challenge. You may also offer a prize to the person who completes your challenge first.
Our first challenge is:
How many candles are in Block 3-1 of Super Castlevania IV?

Hmm, that sounds pretty good Suireban; looks like you've been going at it in SCV:IV.
2nd challenge (a): (for those of you who have SotN)
How fast can you get the Muramasa to reach it's full potential? I can't remember how long it took me...
2nd challenge (b): (for those of you who have AoS)
Can you beat boss rush mode without loosing any HP and without using either the final guard and/or the kyoma demon souls?

Um... Hypno. The difference between this thread and Question of the Week, is that people have to prove what they accomplish. I counted the candles, so I know that Suireban got it correct.
BTW, Congrats Suireban!
So... to make your challenge valid, people who undertake it, must provide some sort of evidence about it. The Murasama thing... I have no idea how to. But boss rush mode, maybe with video capture software or a video camera.

OK, (from Dawn of Sorrow) how many stained glass windows are in the background of the room where you fight Malphas in?

I know the answer, but I cheated, since I don't have that game. So, I'm waiting for someone else to do it.
I have a new challenge for those who find Hypno's challenge way too difficult, and for those who don't have Dawn of Sorrow and don't want to cheat:
Post a screenshot of Richter fighting the Grim Reaper in Dracula X (SNES). If you do it with the help of a SNES emulator on your computer, the screenshot must include your computer's desktop with the game in window size. I will give 100 gold to the first person who completes this challenge, if and only if it's a digital picture of your TV screen, including the TV in the picture.

I can't prove it, but I have never used Kyoma or Final Guard souls in boss rush. I use Abbadon, Death interchanged with Black Panther to speed along, and Golem for strength. As for the other thing, I'll get right on that.

Finished the challenge. Took two pictures, one of Death hobo-style, and one samurai style. I can't find the cable to connect my camera though. IF someone beats me to it, no big deal.

Hayaku, Koru-kun!
You know you can use any usb cable that fits your camera?
Um... about the stained glass challenge. It seems not many people have the game. I watched that boss fight on Youtube and counted 2 stained glass windows. I didn't play the game though, which is the purpose of this thread. But I'll have to wait 'till I get a DS. All I have for now is the strategy guide I got for 1 cent.

And seeing as how no one has posted it up, I'll try to do so tomorrow night.
