List here the horror films you thought were a disappointment.

Here's my list:

House of the Dead
Texas Chainsaw Massacre
From Dusk Til Dawn 3
Dawn of the Dead (remake)
Land of the Dead (George Romero could have done better than he did on this)
House of 1,000 Corpses
Jason X
The Hills Have Eyes

House of the Dead 1, Alone in the Dark, anything else that Owe Boll gets his hands on.

He didn't do House of the Dead 2, so that one you can actually watch and laugh at. The idea that they'd have armor everywhere BUT their shoulders. Hmm, where's the zombie gonna bite you?

Boogyman. Because it actually started out really damn good, and was good throughout, until near the end where things started to wrap up, and nothing made sense and it had a bullshit ending and.....ugh. Can't believe they're going to make a sequel out of that sad

The Grudge 2, horrible ending! It was as bad as the ending to this other movie...I think it had the word Darkness in the title.

Darkness Falls?
The ending of The Grudge 2 was pretty wierd. Didn't make much sense. I still liked the movie over all though.

Wasn't Darkness Falls the one with the tooth fairy? No, I don't think that was it. The one I'm thinking of was about this family that moved to...Spain? And the grandfather was doing this weird cult like thing, I don't know I can't really remember it.

Come to think of it, what was that movie with the messed up tooth fairy?

Darkness Falls was the one with the tooth fairy, I believe. Red Dragon also had a serial killer being called the "tooth fairy". Not sure what Chun-Liz is talking about though.....

Okay, I'm going on a quest to find out the name of that movie now. It might take a while, but I'll be back!

Edit: Or it won't take long at all. The name of the movie IS Darkness! Came out in 2004. 3nodding

Ok Dawn of the Dead 2004 is really good.. it is far from being dissapointing to the audience.. but land of the dead is. The hills have eyes ( remake ) was great when i watched it at the cinemas. but the rest are bad.

Land of the Dead wasn't too bad. What I didn't like is that some zombies were all decaying (Which is cool) while others looked like vampires from Buddy. It was inconsistent. BUT! Those zombies that WERE decaying were by far the best looking zombies I ever seen in a movie.

Darkness Falls absolutely blew.

Most American remakes of Japanese horror films are big flops with me. What's scary in the east usually doesn't translate well to western audiences and it all comes out boring. I love atmospheric ghost stories, but films like The Grudge come off as pretentious and exploitative. However, I loved The Ring.
