I hope to God that the Democrats take over congress next week. I have a strong feeling they will. You will see me at the voting booth early in the morning in my tent ^-^

There's hardly a doubt in my mind. We have to take, what, 6 seats in the Senate? It's more in the House, though. I think the Democrats will at least get control of the Senate.

More than likely they will get control of both congressional houses.

They're doing it now. They took the majority of the house and the majority of elected governors are Dems from what I understand.

Yayy.

As of right now, the control of the House hinges on Virginia and Montana.

Unfortunately for me, Texas has remained a red state with congressional elections, and with 99% of the precincts reporting and Perry ahead, it looks like he's already been re-elected.

edit: Dems won Montana. Even if we lose Virginia, it's still even.

On a related note, Republican officials say that Rumsfeld is going to resign. http://www.msnbc.msn.com/id/15622266/
