The large gray adolescent moved swiftly, his fluffy black mane, still growing was becomming something of a mission to see through. He was tossing his head back every few minutes to try and see where it was he was heading.
His body was growing large, he was a fighter, brought up to be one. He had been a kind son, caring, loving but then his mother attacked him, she had said things that had hurt him. He may have been kind once, but like his siblings, he had turned to what his mother had been like, harsh and uncaring.
Slowly coming to a stop to flick his mane out of my eyes, he was then able to scan the horizon, see where it was that he was heading for the first time in a while.
Lifting his large body again he found a rock which he clambered on, curling up on it before laying his head on his paws. His black mane absorbing the head, oh how he was cursed having a black mane in this sun!

Sehani was practically walking blindly. The wind had blown her tuft of fur over the eye that she could actually see out of, making her blind eye the only visible one at the moment. But it didn't bother her much. She simply walked carefully, swiveling her ears to catch all the sounds of her surroundings and using her nose to detect any scent changes in the air.
Having a smooth journey thus far, she wasn't worried too much about getting injured or running into anything. Not that there was much to run into out here anyways, animate or inanimate.
Continuing along, she thought that she heard something. A rustling of some sort or perhaps the sigh, the breathing of a creature. Stopping, she lifted her head and sniffed the air, auds turning this way and that as she attempted to locate any newcomer. It was obvious she wasn't too bothered, however, being as she didn't move her fur tuft out of her eye so that she could see.
Sending out a low roar, she flicked her tail and peered around. As the moments passed, she figured that nothing was out there. Assured, as the wind was blowing the wrong way and so didn't give her his scent, she continued on. Unknowingly, she passed right by the rock where the male was resting on.

Dhar's ears pricked up at the roar and he turned to watch the female. He didn't say anything and just watched her walk past without even seeing him.
"Blind?" He spoke softly as she walked past him, he didn't mean to say it as loudly as he did, it was more him thinking aloud.
His eyes looked her over, she was very pretty for a blind girl. He shook his head to rid him of the thoughts, he wasn't one to think of girls in that way, he couldn't ever see himself settling down with someone.

The sudden sound of another's voice surprised the female slightly. She stopped mid-step and turned in the direction that she sound had originated from. Blinking, she then shook her head so that her blind eye was covered and her seeing eye no longer was.
"Only slightly," she replied with a bit of a growl. It didn't bother her that she was blind in one eye, usually. But when others commented on it like that.. she couldn't help but get a little defensive. It wasn't her fault she was blind. It was that stupid lion back home who had made fun of her friend Gana. That stupid lion made her blind.
"You should learn to hold your tongue if you know what's good for you," she stated simply, her eyes narrowing at him. He was looking her over. Damn male.
"And, next time you want to drool over a female, make sure she can't notice it. It's a bit childish if you do it right out in the open." She rolled her eyes. Males and their hormones.

He smiled a little at her response, she was a strong one, he was mistaken.
"Thinking aloud. Nothing wrong with being blind anyway." He sat up, he had suddenly felt a little vunerable laying as he had been.
He shook his head, removing his mane from his face once again and looked down at her.
"I apologize, growing up with a family of girls and a brother who was an insane seer does things to ya. I had no wish to offend you." He was being honest.
"I aint drooling over you, don't flatter yourself. You can't underestimate anyone. Your version of drooling is more, seeing your body shape and how that would determine a fight if there was one." Oh he could get technical. He didn't show much in the way of emotion, if any it was only sarcasm.
He jumped off the rock to stand in front of her, not too close however, he was younger then her, he might look bulky but most of that was fur. Damn fur, sooo hot!
"Anyway, pretty females aren't ones I would go for... What a lioness would look like is nothing to who they are. I couldn't stand a pretty girl who couldn't fight or even hunt, that would make a pretty pathetic mate." That was how he viewed it. However a few months back and to him, males were useless as he had two mothers so, why were males needed? It took a long time to work that one out.

"Nothing wrong," she mumbled to herself, shaking her head. He wasn't blind, so how would he know anything about it? Being blind was probably the worst thing that could have happened to her. One might be surprised at how much she was underestimated simply because she had one blind eye. It was like they thought she couldn't do a single thing. But of course she didn't say any of that aloud. Let him think what he wanted to think without her bitter influence.
When he apologized, she huffed and rolled her eyes again. What did she care about some sappy apology? But she didn't have much time to think about that as he moved straight on to her comment on his 'drooling' over her.
Frowning, she narrowed her eyes at him. "So you were sizing me up?" she growled, her tail flicking back and forth irritably. "Do you expect a fight?" If he did, she wouldn't be afraid to back down She had gotten into plenty of fights before; her blind eye and the various scars on her body proved that. They also proved that she was fit and strong enough to survive vicious fights in which scarring was an expected result.
The lioness backed up noticeably as the male jumped down from the rock and stood in front of her. She wasn't too fond of him at the moment, and she didn't want to stand close to him if she really didn't have to.
"So you are saying you don't like the pretty, petite girls who like to stay home and groom themselves all day? You'd rather have a female who likes to get bloody?" A bit strange, but okay. She supposed she wasn't fond of the sit-at-home-and-do-nothing type.
Nodding, she glanced off a little. "Fair enough."

He just listened as she spoke till she asked a question.
"Expect? No, I just have ot be ready, you can't ever be too sure of a stranger." Blind or not, though he didn't add the last bit in case if offended her too much.
He stretched a little and nodded, "They don't impress me." He shook his mane, the stupid thing was so irritating.
He turned so not to look at her again, he was somewhat intimidated by her though he wished not to show it.
"You live around here? I am Dharba by the way." He doubted that she would care about his name but he said it anyway, it was polite, well, at least he thought so anyway.

Sehani nodded at him. For being young and seemingly on his own, he seemed quite sensible. She wouldn't admit that to him out loud, however. She wasn't in the position nor the mood to boost his ego.
"I guess they wouldn't impress me either," she agreed. "After all, it isn't that hard to sit around on your a** all day."
Her ears flicked as he asked her if she lived around here. What did it matter? Narrowing her eyes, she followed his movements. He wasn't looking at her. Was there a reason for that? She believed there was, but she didn't assume anything right away. She couldn't think of any reason he could be avoiding looking at her.
"I live everywhere. I'm a rogue," she replied plainly. "My son and I are traveling around." It was a little more than she might have given any other time, but it was still rather vague. After all, she had purposely avoided giving him her name. She felt that it wasn't necessary for him to know. And if he felt it unfair because he had given her his name... well, she hadn't asked for it.
"Strange name," she commented, however, not ashamed of avoiding giving out her name. So what if she didn't trust him?

He didn't care much about her not giving out her name, he was quite use to it.
He nodded as she mentioned that she was a rogue and the fact that she had a son, it didn't surprise him. He just listened, before turning back to look at her.
"Strange? It suited the pride I was in, however issues between my mothers meant we had to leave." He was a little more trusting, he didn't care all too much about what he told anyone, there wasn't much interest in his life.

Sehani simply shrugged. She seemed a bit more at ease now than she was before. He seemed good at talking to her and distracting her from her bitter and angry feelings.
"I was just saying it was strange to me. My name could be strange to you." She shrugged again. "It just all depends and I was simply stating my opinion." Nothing wrong with that, right? Of course not! And if he had a problem, well, he could just take his sorry butt and move along then.
"Mothers?" she asked, emphasizing the plural. He had two mothers? Sheesh. How annoying that must have gotten. She was annoyed with just one mother. All that nagging and constant grooming... she would have pulled out all of her fur if she had had two lionesses doing that to her.
"Gosh, sorry," she laughed, still thinking about how horrible it would have been for her to have had two mothers. She wasn't as feminine as most others. She liked to be rough and get a little dirty sometimes.

Dhar nodded, it made sense.
He watched her though as she said mothers. It seemed that she was as shocked or confused as everyone else he had told. He was use to it by now though.
"It was liveable, Denge was always after my brother, he wandered off alot claiming that he could see the future. She had one daughter, my birth mother, she got pregnant by a random guy, had three of us, brought up by them both. They weren't exactly sane... either of them. Which is why I am here, and not in the pride with my sisters and Ny's cubs." He had heard rumours of the cubs, his mother had said something? He couldn't remember much.
He raised his paw and started to wash it, not that it mattered, black paws didn't really show the dirt well.

Sehani half-listened to the male's story. She wasn't particularly interested, but she was in a slightly good mood and so she didn't want to appear completely rude.
Once he was finished, she shivered and made a sort of huffing noise. "Sheesh, no wonder you left," she stated bluntly. "Doesn't sound like I'd want to be there either." Of course, that was no reflection on his family, simply the situation of the family. But she didn't say that out loud. If he took it the wrong way, then he took it the wrong way. It didn't bother her any.
As Dhar began to groom himself, she vaguely wondered where her son was. All the talk of family had made her remember that she hadn't seen him all morning. Swiveling her head around, she peered at her surroundings, trying to remember where she had come from so that she wouldn't have a hard time going back to Gharadi.
Flicking her tail against her paws, she sighed. She should really learn the lands one of these days.

He watched her a little, "I could show you around if you want, thats if the looking around does mean your lost. If I am wrong, I apologzie." He didn't like to insult other's but this femme was curious and though conversation obviously wasn't one of her strong points he wasn't about to let her just wander off either. He wanted to try and work her out.
His green eyes looked at her, he had listened to everything she had said and though he had not replied to the last comment she made, he had been somewhat confused, or maybe just wondering, whether she had been listening completely or not. Most questioned his mothers choice of mate.
He looked about a little, spotting a herd of something not too far off, he was hungry but didn't wish to leave the femme, not yet at least.

Sehani glanced back towards the male, ears perked. She was going to snap something at him for assuming she was lost, but then he apologized in advanced in case he was wrong. Well that put her in a tough spot. No matter how bitter or sour she may be, she was still a bit fair at times. She felt it wouldn't be quite right to yell at him for something he'd apologized for automatically.
Frowning, though it was more at herself, she flicked her tail and merely shrugged. "I guess you could say I'm lost. Though, I'm more trying to remember." Remember which way she came from, where she had been just that morning, where her son Gharadi could possibly be...
There were many things running through her mind. And when her mind was flustered like that, she hunted.
Rising to her paws, she shook out her fur and stretched out her forelegs, flexing her long, sharp claws. "You could show me where the good hunting spots are," she offered to him, going back to the point when he had said he could show her around the lands. "I'm bored." Half a lie, but whatever. He didn't really need to know the real reason she wanted to hunt.

Dhar watched her, not like staring at her but just as you would watch someone who you spoke to. She interested him, she was curious and seemed very closed, he still didn't know her name!
He let her speak and nodded, if she was remembering he would shut his big mouth, that would probably be the best thing to do at the moment. Then she asked him a question, to show her around. He would love to show her the hunting spots!
"Yes, I shall show you the hunting spots, one seems to have moved rather close." He shook his head again, stupid mane. "Over on the horizon there seems to be a large herd." He turned to head that way, stopping to shake his mane again. Why were males cursed with such beautiful looking fluffy manes that became the biggest problem in the world?
He turned back, just to see if she would follow though in truth he wasn't bothered if she did or not, he was hungry anyway. Food was chosen over girls anyday.
