Palazzo Grassi (also known as the Palazzo Grassi-Stucky) is an imposing white marble palace on the Grand Canal of Venice. Designed by Giorgio Massari, the building was completed between 1748-1772 for the wealthy Bolognese Grassi family. Sold by the Grassi family in 1840, it ownership passed through many different individuals. The Palazzo was purchased by the FIAT group in 1983. Their aim was to transform the building into an exhibition hall for the visual arts, which it has remained to this day. In 1984-1990, Pontus Hultén was in charge of the art museum. It also contains a 600 seat outdoor theatre.
The latecomer among the Canal palaces, it has a academic classicism that is out of touch with the surrounding Byzantine Romanesque and Baroque Venetian palazzos. It has a formal palace façade, lacking the lower mercantile openings.

A figure wearing a long black leather jacket could be seen leaving the Palace. The sound of his boots echoing through the silent street as Gabriel made his way to the hotel.

The teen walks into the area, taking his bag off his sholder he sits down on a bench and looks up at the night sky. Shortly after he lays down and falls asleep.

Rose runs after Zero, stopping where he stopped. "Where are we-,"she stopped as she panted and stared up at the palace.

She stared at his sword and back up at his eyes. "A person who plans to live longer. "What are you?" she asked sternly as she gave him a narrow-eyed look.

"Lycan or Demon"he says to her in a calm voice. Zero's human eyes narrowed onto her body. He puts away his sword and sits by a fountain...

"Depends on how you look at it," she said as looked back at him. Her tail swayed back and forth to show she was calm. "Your scent is different, of course," she said with a smile.

Zero smiles"Lycan, demons don't go by scent"he says in a calm voice. A slight chuckle comes out."I take it you're not very advanced in your natural abilities, because if you were you would know what I am."he says with a smile. Zero's dark blue hair swayed as he pointed at the holy silver cross around his neck...

Rose looked down. "I know what you are...demon," she whispered, feeling a little insulted. "Why are we here?" she said as she looked behind her back.

Zero laughed"A demon, ha you wish you were so lucky"he says in a joking voice. Zero walks over to her, to where he was right up next to her and he whispers in her ear."I'm a human..."he says in a calm voice. Zero turns and begins to walk back to the fountain...

Rose eyes widen. She's never gotten it wrong before. There was a loose scent around him that showed he was a demon. She should have sensed the human smell. That was strange, unless he was in really close contact with another demon. She thought then sat next to him. "You have a loose scent. No wonder....You were with one," she said to him without looking at his face.

"I've always had a loose scent. It makes it hard for Immortals to tell what I am. It's one of the reasons so many Demons and Vampires die around here..."he says in a calm voice...Zero looks at her, she was really cute."Either you are really brave or really stupid for sitting next to me. Most Immortals kill Hunters on sight..."he says in a calm yet kind voice. Zero smiles and relaxes...
