Teatro La Fenice ("The Phoenix") is an opera house in Venice, Italy. It is one of the most famous theatres in Europe, the site of many famous operatic premieres. Its name reflects its role in permitting an opera company to "rise from the ashes" despite losing the use of two theatres (to fire and legal problems respectively). Since opening and being named La Fenice, it has twice burned and been rebuilt.

Mitsukai looked to the building, then tilted her head as her eyes flitted in the direction of her guide'. "Do you enjoy opera Mr...Judge?"

Its one of the finer things in life M'lady. It calms the nerves. He smiles as he turns his attention towards people passing by.

The girl's own attention returned to that of the structure before her. "I've heard it but if I've never actually...experienced an opera before...among other things...but I hope to change that, a few if not all, on this trip...this journey."

Your journey is what you make of it. If you wish to do one thing, then do it. If you don't want to leave one place, or if you want to go to another place then you have to do it. If you don't do what you want, life becomes dull and boring. He smiled as he turned and faced away from the building.

My life has its dull moments, it happens. You just can't let them stop you. If you don't live your life how you want, then why live it in the first place?

They bounced off her fingertips and onto the ground where she leaned over to retrieve them. "Ah...does this mean I am on my own to sightsee now?"
