The Races section covers the more uncommon races, as well as the basic human, setup. You can be mixed blood for all intents and purposes, but if you do...keep in mind that you only get the benefits of one race or the other, for one is dominant.

Human: If you're human, then you get 4 skills at the start

This race levels half as fast as humans
Daemon: If you're a demon, then you can shapeshift as a natural talent, you also get mastery of shadow and fire magic. (This gives a +5 towards the success of shadow or fire based magic) [You are limited to 1 skill]
You also gain access to Time Magic giving the following abilities:

Time Magic- Haste gains an extra action per caster level. (When cast, it lasts for 2D6 rounds) [levels with normal spell progression.]

Precognition: Cannot be surprised.(No backstabs)

Because of your adept knowledge of time magic, you can sense danger or major changes a split second into the future. (Think Jedi)

Time Stop: Can stop time and reverse a situation. (Once per battle, player can ignore one action from one of his opponents, as he has stopped time and escaped the immediate threat.)

This race levels half as fast as humans
Angelus: If you're an angel, then you can fly as a natural ability. You gain mastery of light and water magic (gives a +5 towards the success of light or water based magic) [You are limited to 1 skill.]
You also gain access to Life Magic giving the following abilities:

Raise dead: You can attempt to raise a fallen ally once every 2 rounds with a successful role of 15 or above on a 20 sided die. (When raised, player has half of full hit dice.)

Resistant to Earth Magic: You only take half damage from earth magic due to your ability to fly.

Divine Touch: You may reroll 1 die roll per battle, for your deity has stepped in and given you a helping hand.

Dhampire: You are a half vampire, you may add an automatic +2 to damage rolls for physical attacks due to your supernatural strength.

Fast: You get 1 extra attack every other round. [You are limited to 2 skills]

Light Sensitive: You are at 50% of your normal save versus magic against light based magic.
