I just bought a few books! I'm so excited when I do. I bought:
As Meat Loves Salt, by Maria McCann Darkly Dreaming Dexter, by Jeff Lindsay Anansi Boys, by Neil Gaiman
I wanna read them but I have to finish a book for school first. D: I hate when that happens. But aside from that, has anyone bought any good books to read recently? :33

I bought Poison Study and Magic Study, both by Maria V. Snyder and both wonderful books. I just got an anthology called "Fantasy Gone Wrong". It has some really funny stories in it.

I haven't gotten a lot of time to go shopping, but today I am so I'll probably will end up buying New Moon by Stephenie Meyer, Paradise Lost by John Milton, Thicker Than Water by Carla Jablonski, and (if they have it) In Seas Shadow by Christie Golden.

I just recently bought a kid's book, and I actually really enjoyed it. It is extremely juvinile, but definately worth a read if you have an afternoon free. The book series is called 'Young Wizards', by Diane Duane. The first book is called 'So You Want To Be A Wizard'.
So yeah - if you have a free afternoon, definately check it out. ^^

-Miss Ione heart A friend of mine is absolutely in love with the Young Wizards series, and she still follows it. : ) I read the first one, and she gave me the second one to read but I haven't yet gotten around to it.. I really like the series, though!

Recently picked up Night of the Wolf by Alice Borchardt at a used book store. It's the second in a trilogy, so I'm really hoping it lives up to the first. If not, meh, it's not like I paid full price for it.

There really are so many books out lately. The last one I purchased was "Stravaganza: The City of Flowers, By Mary Hoffman" (The third book) I loved the first two (The City of masks and The city of stars) They were enchanting. The best parts were, not only was it a fantasy book, well written, but it was set in a magical city much like venice, and I am fascinated with venice. Have any of you read any of these books?
