I can't describe what I feel right now, as it's foregin to me. As it has been since it's been bugging me for around several months now.
But it all seems to be sourced from a desire to ascend to the level of a supreme diety.
Part of me is rejecting the idea, another part of me craves it.
any thoughts from y'all?

Personally I don't understand why anyone would want to be a surpreme being... because once you have limitless knowledge and power... what is left to drive you?

"The price of greatness is responsibility"
If you do, remember that you will have more that you must attend to.

It seems simply the distillation of the want of power. However, I wouldnt recommend it. Can you imagine a god who wants to be a god? Scary. Also, the "supreme" part is- not only a diety, but the highest kind. Beware of such that lurk inside yourself.

Sounds like a need to control your own life and environment that's gone mythic. Start small, and see where the balance of power and responsibility are actually comfortable. Also read "Good Omens" by Neil Gaiman and Terry Pratchett. In fact, maybe supplement that with Gaiman's "Neverwhere", "American Gods", and "Anansi Boys". It'll give you some perspective on why being a deity might not be exactly what you want. Or, at the very least, give you some places to look if it's advancement you crave.
